just a heads up for anyone on leviathan (or any other server once the douche jumps ship):

the taru Indie is a liar, thief and douchebayg. i'll tell you why!

him and sithwarrior traded accounts (who knows why.)

sith was a pld + mnk, indie is a blm + brd.

after trading, 2 weeks went by or so and indie realized that playing sith's character sucked because he was a douche and sucked hairy balls as a pld. sith agreed to swap back as long as they were able to trade gear and gil and stuff as they did the first time.

indie agreed. sith traded me the stuff he bought while on indie so when he got his password back from indie he'd get his stuff from me. indie then said he "forgot the password" even though he had it saved, so he could log on but not let sith access his account. then indie used his POL codes to get back on his original character. he gave me a bogus password to give to sith when he came online. when sith tried to access his account, he couldnt.

now, sith had lost his codes so he was screwed. then indie proceeded to /toss all sith's gear (including homam hands, askar boots, etc) and steal his gil + items (cerberus mantle and much more). now sithwarrior, a friend of mine for 2+ years on this game, is quitting because he cant even dispute the loss of items to GM cause they will say he shouldnt have given his account info out.

Indie is a douchebag and a loser and shouldnt be given a pearl to any respectable end game linkshell. i wanted to warn all leaders out there on leviathan and otherwise to be wary of him, he will only bring you down. on top of that, he is pooly skilled for having a 75 blm + brd, as it is not his original character anyway, it is a friend of his who handed the account off when he quit.

i'm also posting this on KI forums and letting know all the leaders of ls on leviathan i know what happened. cheers and happy hunting!

well my buddy is only 16 years old... i'm sure we all made mistakes back when we were that young. i'm 26, and i know i have lol...

but ya, i'm sure he learned his lesson from this. you dont trust people you dont know that well - especially to play fair in an online setting.


mostly this thread was just started as a service to all those ls's out there to watch out for this asshat Indie and not to give him a pearl. he's a punk kid who thinks he's hot shit, and really he's just a loser, a cheat and a thief. honor {where?} i already talked to like 10 ls on leviathan. the dude commited end game suicide by fucking my friend. i spent 3 hours mediating the switch back to their own accounts... and i wasted my time. now my buddy is just quitting after 4 years in game because of something stupid like this. /sigh

again... this post wasnt meant to condone any of the trading of accounts or such. it is merely just a warning that this asshat is out there. fine, steal gil and items because you had the dudes account info (as shitty as that is). but who the hell tosses people's r/ex shit out of spite? homam? askar? sith's gear is GONE. the dude is quitting now after 4 years of play. Indie has no respect for people, and he should be treated the same. when i asked why hes being like that and fucking sith over, his reply was "i want to bury him." wtf is that. on top of everything, he has no skill with either of his jobs because he inherited his account from someone.

I strongly disagree on the people i have quoted reason is, because perhaps some of you don’t understand why people trust on others. Perhaps the link that i have posted here hopefully will make some of you see a different perspective on the nature of people trusting one another. So the next time some of you come and here to just insulting on someone who has made a mistake on trusting on another human being, then i highly recommend looking at your mistakes in your past,present, or your most recent one. Instead bashing on someone else for his or her mistakes.

I believe we make the same mistakes as we are hoping that this time round; everything will go right or be different.
Some people are comforted by certain situations which is why you often have a person in an abusive relationship going back time and time again, or why people constantly say they won't cheat but do as they like having something to fall back on............better the devil you know some say.
We do learn from the mistakes, but as we have learned, never put the new teachings into action as we all declare we'll never make that mistake again

I think "we" are creatures of habit so we tend to stick with familiar "known" patterns of behaviors, similar mind-frames, making similar decisions and the same choices all the time....

Pretty much at this point it doesn’t really matter if you, anyone, or myself, will be given the same advice, which is of course it is “stop sharing your account information for the 1,000,000,000th time.”

For all that matter you, anyone, or myself can give that same advice for the 5.000.000.000th time. So that is why the word “idiot” is an inappropriate term in this situation. That has transpired today.

I kind of don't agree with this statement.

If all of our actions are predetermined, this implies we all have a selected path, and we can never stray from our fate. This is the easiest way to release oneself from responsibility from one's own actions. "Sure, I work at a crappy job, and I'm poor, and my marriage is declining, but that's where I'm supposed to be in life. It's fate!" This makes people feel as if they have no control, and better about their lives, instead of taking responsibility and action, and changing what horrible situation they find themselves in.

Now, the first half of your question is certainly circumstantial. Depending on the individual’s psychological development. We all learn or are psychologically affected by everything that happens in our lives, and from there depending on the person, some may learn from their experiences, and others could handle the situation... not so well.

So, no. Someone else does not predetermine all our actions. Only ourselves.

From what i've read on the accounts recovered thread you no longer need the reg codes to recover a 'stolen' account, so your friend should try that. If he changed his to the billing information on the other kids account, go for a 2 point shot and see if he can get both. If not, well
