I myself am guilty of this, it's the eyebrows.

Taru girls mostly have those ones, and boys have the more horizontal ones, except the topknot boy, who in a turban is impossible to distinguish from the girl taru with the same hair coloring.

Bah, it's because you picked the most feminine looking taru. Most of the time (especially when wearing hats) the only way to tell guys from girls is the eyes and the eyebrows, and that model just happens to have girly eyebrows.

It just shows low lazy Square is, or how much they just hate their Taru playerbase (even though I think Taru are the most commonly played race, if not, then right behind Humes).

We just wanna look like girls, and even though I do a lot of datswapping so my taru always does, it still sucks to know that to everyone else I look like a guy -.-

Sadly enough, because I 1) Usually have my RDM hat on and 2) Talk in complete sentences, I've not only been mistaken for a female Tarutaru, people have thought I'm a girl IRL.

Which is kinda creepy, cause I'm definitely not. No offense to women anywhere.

this is funny, did the stuff, then an emote came up saying that my dance is synchronized to hers, and then I got 10 fireworks from moogle boo I wanted a swimsuit.

Ok so I did this in Bastok Markets, after a few tries I got the hang of what you are supposed to do, but I still have no clue how to get the bathing suit. I talked to the Moogle near fountain, they talk about the event blah blah help Mumor. She appears and says hi, waves, etc, says she's about to sing a song for us, then the bad guy appears. They start fighting - if you can call it that lol, and you need to cheer her on to help her. After a bit of fighting she'll say "Now it's time to use my ultimate attack, the Dancing Force! You're going back to where you belong, Ullegore!". He responds with "Ultimate attack? Gwahaha! Don't make me laugh!" She then puts her weapon away, and performs one of the following dances at the Corse NM :

Shining Summer Samba! (Samba - /dance1)
Lovely Miracle Waltz! (Waltz - /dance2)
Neo Crystal Jig! (Jig1 - /dance3)
Super Crusher Jig! (Jig2 - /dance4)

Ok, so the point is to synchronize your dancing with hers, when she uses one of the above moves. What I found works best is: First, turn emote filter ON, it's extremely hard to pay attention to the NPC chat if you have "___ cheers Mumor on!" 500 times in your chatlog constantly. Second, target the NPC (I let other people do the cheering on of her >.>) and type out /dance, but leave the chat open. Once she says she's going to use her Dancing Force move, get ready to add either 1,2,3, or 4 and then press enter to match her dance. If you do it right (there's a bit of leeway but you MUST choose the correct /dance emote), you'll get this to happen:

First couple times I only synched 1 of the dances, once I figured it out I got 6/7 > 6/7 > 7/7 (she does 7 total dances before the battle ends with her defeating the Corse guy). Rewards that I know of are currently 5 Goshikitenge (firework) per dance synched (so 35 if you get all 7). I did a total of 5 tries, 0/7 1/7 1/7 6/7 6/7 7/7, and got only the fireworks every time (0 > 5 > 5 > 30 > 30 > 35) so I'm unsure if you have to do the event more times or if there is something else involved. Hope this helps those looking to do this event ^^ Looking forward to more information as people figure out how to get the new bathing suit (personally I prefer the old one)
