the plan is already for a deadpool movie, so I would assume they are pushing his character a bit

If Deadpool doesn't come rampaging through the fourth wall, guns a-blazing, I shall be most disappointed.
Do I still think in those little yellow boxes?
In the words of deadpool "My common sense is tingling!"
I kinda doubt they'd get an actor like Ryan Reynolds for nothing but a one scene of a character they won't show again. I'm sure Deadpool is coming and I think that with the way Iron Man and the Batman movies have gone there will be more of an effort to stay truer to the comics.
Shit looks good. I dunno the actor for gambit, but he does look the part. The sabertooth guy definitely isn't as buff as the comic but I agree with whoever said he looks like he'll have the personality. Some of these other characters I don't know, I never got to read much outside of the very mainstream xmen squad. Is there a site that explains all of the history in the comics? Never got to see any of the weapon X stuff and I'm pretty sure I know nothing about deadpool other than the name.
ps. psylocke was in x3? where the hell was that at?
The Asian chick with purple hair who followed Callisto and Arclight was supposedly Psylocke, but she's never named explicitly in the film and she doesn't use her telepathy, just the shadow-walking power they gave her after Crimson Dawn. And even then, the one scene where she uses that power (when she and Quill attack Dr. Rao and Papa Worthington), she doesn't even walk through shadow. The hall is brightly lit.
X3 was all sorts of fail so I'm really hoping that Wolverine redeems the franchise.
What the hell did I miss in the last 10 years for it to make sense for Wolverine to be fighting Gambit?
wasnt he on the opposite side of the x-men more than once? i'm not too huge on the comics, but I remember him being with Apocolypse as one of the horsemen, and there was the thing when they found out Gambit used to work for (mr sinister was it?) and killed abunch of the underground people. he was exiled to antartica or something.
Gambit alone will be worth the price of admission. I am jizzing in my pants as I reply to this thread.
Psylocke was in X3? I totally missed that.
On topic: I've been a total X-men fan since I was young & can't wait for this. Even if horrible I'll watch every X-men related movie to ever be released lol. And like many others, I love Gambit and can't wait! Just hope he is more than a camio and is a major character!
I'm sure I'll hear a lot of /facepalming from around the world, WTFs?! or head exxplosions... but who's Deadpool in the Marvel Universe
Looked it up.
I'm in the know now.
Gotta wait 5 months for this!? Damnit ;(
Been said, but Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool is going to be frickin' awesome.
The movie doesn't look that bad, I'll see it. Gambit better be as amazingly ridiculous as he is in the series, and if they could track down the dude who voiced him in the cartoon, even better.
So Gambit > Deadpool?
^no
They're both equally retarded. In the comics anyways.
Gambit was one of my favorite comic book characters ever. Gambit > Deadpool in my opinion, though I'm sure most would disagree.
to people that watched the cartoon gambit > deadpool
to people that read comics deadpool > every character ever
