Google Links get redirected

So yeah. My laptop is having issues now. Seems like when I search something in Google, and I click to open it in a new tab, or click it to open it in general, it gets redirected to some ad. D; Any clue about what I can do? I searched google, but was hoping for some BG help.

Man I got hit with that hard a few days ago. Traditional things like McAfee, Spybot, HiJackThis all failed to free me.

What happened to me was:
Search in google, get results, click it get redirected to some damn ad site.
Look at source of pages, see nasty looking Javascript.
Try to go to symantec/mcafee/any other antivirus website = redirected (Hosts file hijack).

Found a program called MalwareBytes (download on separate PC) http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php and ran it. It found some nasty stuff, and was able to delete them all and everything went back to normal. It has earned its spot in my Antivirus toolkit (as a tech, I'm the one who has to fix these things for everyone~)

I got hit at a work machine, where I have the ability to do anything except install other AV apps, and the occasional IE required stuff leaves some nasty holes :/

Therefore have to be an expert on post-fixes

System restore to a couple days ago?

Tried system restoring to no avail. I'll try the MalwareBytes program. You said it fixed it for you? It sends me to some "go.google25sSDfewSs237" bullshit link. D:
