I honestly hate playing my DH because of what you mentioned Ezek and am rolling barb so I can take some hits.

I think it's stupid that we can only react and in a lot of cases we will still die. I know barb is gear dependent but I am having way more fun not having to kite things for 20 screens because it's extra fast + vortex.

I would really like to see how a DH could possibly do hardcore inferno safely, it seems really unlikely.

It's not. WHen I first got to inferno (day2) I was a dex/vita all res DH with 9k dps and handled everything relatively easy. I mean, I DID DIE. But! With a few tweaks of gear and maxing vita over dex it's doable for sure. Act1 atleast l0l

Yeah act 1 is easy, I just don't see it happening on anything beyond that in its current state. lol

Act 1 doesn't count. I can pretty much clear that place np.

A2+ is when shit hurts and everything kills you.

I like using the Ball Lightning Rune for Elemental Arrow skill on my DH. When i see a mob with the "slow missles" bubble i light up inside. All the balls pile up and hit the mob/group of mobs at once. Even if the mob/group has reflect damage i am happy...i die about 1/10000th of a second after the balls hit..but i am happy.

lol yeah, slow missile + reflect are pretty much the only reflect monsters I can kill without taking ages. I just load up a shitload of nether tentacles and die instantly after hitting and repeat until dead.

So as a Demon Hunter, it is pretty well established that Bow and Hand Crossbow are stronger than 2hnd Crossbow? Looking at your build and all the crit items you have, you have 34% crit rate? If you managed to find(aka buy) a 2hnd Crossbow with 20%~ critical hit rate and a slot, would that 50% crit rate be enough to convince you to use a 2hnd Crossbow? I'm not sure if there is a cap on +Critical Damage, but if there isn't, then I would imagine you getting some obscene numbers that (I would assume) can outdamage 15% damage. Of course, I may be wrong, but your build seems like it would break the passive on Archery.

It would, but I've been literally scouring the AH, D2jsp, and the official D3 forums looking for a 1100+ DPS Xbow with sockets and either Dex or Crit damage on it and haven't found anything yet. Meanwhile, Newbta finds one for 3.5m on the AH lol.

So I've been trying Inferno as a Monk. @670 across all resistances, 1100 DEX, and 26k health. It's been alright, but being "forced" to go tanky has been boring for me, especially because my damage is only 8kish. If I wanted to blow things up, would you recommend Wizard or Demon Hunter? Thanks.

Demon Hunter has more raw damage but dies in one hit (2 up until late Act 3 if you gear up vit/all resist enough), Wizard has more survivability if you gear to have 40k+ HP but has less damage.
