Anyone going to be online tonight to give me a port to Act 4 hell? :3
Man I just broke A3 in Inferno and with all this talk about how it's a wall, i'm nervous. I really really really want this game to work for me. Between work and military duty and kids, I don't have much free time at home and a decent game is nice and relaxing way to let it all go for a time.
Yesterday I took a run in Hell just to lounge and get some gold while watching Breaking Bad. I knew I didn't have to concentrate much because I can just blow through Siegebreaker > Azmo no problem. I just entered the Frost Caverns and hit the multi-shot on two champ packs that were crowding the entrance. Blew away all the illusions on one and noticed I died within seconds after looking away. No prob, I respawn inside and can't even move because Templar spawns before me and they crowd around him, locking me in place. Die again, respawn and die again. Frustrated, I log and respawn a different game. Enter again and the exact same scenario pops out and I realized the first pack spawned reflect and the second molten. Instant death.
They really need to fix that shit. In D2, Bartuc and one other council member boss always spawned light enchant and multi-shot, which always killed you with invisible bolts. They fixed it so mobs can't spawn particular parameters at the same time. Needs to be addressed again in D3. Also the fact that Tyreal and the other followers spawn before you that lures packs right to them and blocks you or them is insane. Waypoints and portals are designed poorly so townspawning isn't a fix I can forsee. It's really starting to tax me to get locked constantly or to make it nigh impossible to get past certain choke points without restarting everything and loosing progress. At least in D2, you can rejoin a game you were in previously and your progress in THAT game won't be reset. Here, you gamble on exiting a game to restart and end up getting squashed sooner in the run and not even making it to the point you quit at.
You're doing somehing very wrong if you can reach a3 inferno and get raped in hell.
Mob spawns are no excuse.
Not gonna contest that line of logic. You can still get unlucky regardless. I have barely any resists and about 14k HP. That's what i'm saying it's a very wrong thing to happen and it shouldn't. Just saying.
Also, you smell.
Mobs would probably kill themselves by simply hitting me before I died against anything in hell... And I suck big time.
There are some ridiculous deals available on the AH at the moment. On the EU AH this morning before work I managed to pick up a 900DPS 1-hander with 99% Crit DMG, 220STR, 100VIT and 2.3% life steal for 200k. Lastnight i also found an amulet with 300LoH, 4% Crit Chance and 20% Crit Damage for 1m buyout.
Is nothing seriously not selling that much that people are getting fed up and selling things like this for stupid cheap? I'm pretty sure I could wait until the weekend rolls around and get 50m+ for the Amulet and 20m+ for the Axe...
nothing selling. Ive actually seen some items been put up for 4-5m for a week straight only to be put up for 40k and sold within 5s lol
its a buyers market hands down
I have not enough gold in a buyers market =/
If anyone has any pity-fuck Wiz/INT items, I'll give what I can. I think I have about 50k gold and a noob Lv60 wiz, my only SC Hero.
I use a 520 dmg dagger, for example, with many pieces equally weak.
it's definitely a buyer's market. things like nat marks which you couldn't find for less than 80m have raced to 40m and are going to hit 30. i have some serious items which should be selling for several millions which i just can't move unless i stick it them the bargain bin for super cheap.
that said, the period of negligence by blizzard has extended itself for so long that i don't see prices making a strong rebound. at the very least there's no way they hit their original highs: they fucked the game so badly for too many people who are just too fed up to come back, or at least come back with their original fervor for playing.
Thats what happens when instead of making a simple sequel to build on one of the most beloved games in the history of gaming uses the 3rd installment of the series as a reboot to market to a wider audience instead of the fans of the series.
There was no reason to reboot Diablo, the formula worked absolutely fantastic for the previous games. All Blizzard had to do was stop the cheating and botting and improve on the small things that were annoying in D2 and you have a cult classic, 10+ year load blowing extravaganza right out of the box.
This game is straight up a ghetto version of Jon Snow, a bastard thats not bad ass in any way shape or form.
I lied.. I had 19k SC gold
spent a little, down to 9k. need to play, but it's soo argh
I think I'm just going to put on any Lv60 ammy/ring/ring/armor and get that achievement and then delete. SC mode is more unmanageable for a late-comer like myself than HC mode. shit is dirt cheap, and i realize anything <200k is cheap cheap in SC. But some people never got anywhere near that much; I've topped out at like 80-100k gold
some people have billions. wut
That's kind of hard to believe. I played two characters through normal and picked up at at least 250k in gold alone (as shown by my profile). It says 350k now, with one character almost done with A1 Nightmare.
i think 2hr weapon are pretty dang cheap now so you can spend like 20-30k and get a nice boost of dmg
Sounds like you refuse to farm to me. You can easily, and I mean easily, get 1 million in a few hours only. It's just a want vs a willing situation.
No. D3 is Eddard Stark, and Blizzard is Joffrey.
