Has anyone tried running warriors rest today? I do it when I watch a show on my other screen because it's so easy to just hold down attack and win but today I haven't gotten a single i63 armor piece, I did get two 2hand i63 weapons and for the most part I get no rares at all per kill with 290mf on. I have done it enough times today to think that this is more than just bad luck and that it may have been nerfed but I don't see anyone else claiming the same bad results so I can't be sure.

Oh absolutely; SC is hard to play. I would quit too, like the masses, if that were my only option.

But it is a pain to get gold; it's not like I can hope to sell shit at like 20k-50k a pop in this mode. You can offload mediocre rares much easier in HC.

As for what I do put effort into on SC, I did knock out Naked Lust / The Hero's New Clothes yesterday. I'm going to buy some cheap junk recipes and get a little more acct progress towards 100 recipes before deleting the Hero. (some as cheap as 335 gold. I can handle that, lol) The mode is so fucked up, and for once, I'm echo'ing the masses.

I know bots and all, but I wish I could Royal Crypt ashes/urns it up a little. =/ That ship has sailed.

OH! I could use the RMAH! Nah, nothx@that

I made over 6m levelling my Wizard from 1 to 58 by selling rares on the AH. Just go back to the start of Act 3 Hell and farm up. I believe level 60's can drop from Hell A3 and A4 and you don't even need i60's to make decent money.

It's an item grind game...it's the way it's designed. If you cant farm Act 1 inferno it's pretty logical to take 1 or 2 steps back. It's really not hard to grind up 1m~ gold in Act 3 Hell and there are people who have cleared all Inferno acts with a 1m budget so being able to gear up for Act 1 inferno shouldn't take anywhere near 1m.

How recently were said items sold? 6mil from only Hell-difficulty rares the way the AH is -now- is a fucking dream. I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume your leveling 1 to 58 happened before I even hit 30. Once we were a week or two removed from 1.0.3 and the intial RMAH surge, no one is buying anything... in case you haven't heard in this thread?

If you don't think I've listed rares I've found on the AH.. then I dunno (*'-');; Of course I have (or at least tried). I've also bought some upgrades; I use mostly 30k-60k Lv60 rares. I have not had more than 150k gold at any point (and a XI friend gave me 100k lol). And yes, I'm 60, but I did it sorta death-filled while getting some of the death-related achievements I'm not going to get in HC mode.

And if you're serious about tomes of secrets, Meph, I'll gladly use them; artisans need to get the Inferno levels obviously. I can pay you in some sort of more legitimate grunt work than farming items/gold the way the game is currently. I can 2box Savior in 90min but I can't get 200k gold. (admittedly impatient on the SC front, yes, but it's not like 1.0.3 is helping me out any)

Edit: when i get home from work (maybe another 7-9 hours) I'll show you guys my dank ass SC wiz. I'm still 2 slot upgrades away from getting the first full tab in my stash. I do have pretty good gems for being stuck(ish) in Hell diff though, with at least a handful flawless of each, through some semi-diligent upgrading.

yeah.. i'm too niche i think. i hate resuming game; i like to get lost in the game. i can only leave/resume when looking for unique spawns and even then, only 5, maaaybe 10 at a time. it hurts so badly

i like running to dead ends like Foundry Lv2, that's my style

I myself wouldn't use a shield on a wiz in SC. My level 52 wiz does more damage than yours does with 3/4s of the int.

You want a trick to making money in HC? Craft the fucking random level 50-58 shit from the trainer, it costs next to NOTHING to make and you can get pieces that sell for 500k + with ease.

I kind of eluded to this in the HC thread.
