Idk if this has made its way to BG yet but there is some drama going on because of an interview with diablo's creator David Brevik shown here about how he felt about diablo 3. There was no disrespect meant in any of the comments but it was still ill taken by Diablo 3's dev's and there were some ill things said regarding it on facebook, shown here. Now the comments have become a meme and we have ourselves a funny video shown below.

I just kind of automatically expect big important people in companies to be asshole jerks. However, as the 'face' of the company, Wilson should not have reacted the way he did on FB (even if he thought it was 'private' - first rule of FB is nothing is ever guaranteed private). He should show some restraint on voicing his own opinions about other people for the sake of the company's image. That's really my only thought on this, I'm not going to hate the company or D3 any more or less for it.

Likewise, the creator of the series voiced his thoughts and gave his input. Current people go "boohoo :'( the creator didn't like what we did... why can't he give us some slack! We tried the best we could T-T" cry more asstards. Mabye they should consider what he's sayin before being little bitches on facebook.

sidenote: I'm not a huge fan of D3 but I feel like it's moving in the right direction. I don't feel like it was a waste of my money since I got 3 weeks of entertainment outta it.

To be fair, when all you really have to go is up, it's not hard to head in the right direction.

Got to P3 after modest clears of A1 and A2 over maybe 6-7 hours. Didn't really find anything good in the process, though.

Plugging some quick numbers in, 6500 DEF and 650 resist against a level 63 mob would put you at 89.34% DR without considering Barb's passives (which I forget how they calculate in). I'd safely say anything below that would be a good explanation to why you'd be getting rocked, especially against the drake fireball things. And if you're more, well, just proof shit hits hard. But it looks like 10 DEF = 1 Resist overall, so if one's lacking compared to the other, probably better to focus on equalizing their ratio. But bumping to 7500/750 makes 91.25%, so changes aren't going to seem drastic.

Might also be a case of you needing more LoH.

Yeah, I'd just say DH skills lack, I dunno, gravitasse. I was fudging around with different things post-patch, and while stuff felt similar, things still need some help. Like, I can't justify any other Caltrops rune than the one that binds enemies due to Inferno's innate snare reductions. This also goes on to hurt skills like Entangling Shot and Elemental Arrow with the cold rune. The latter can at least be used modestly thanks to its low hatred cost, whereas some skills still underperform for their costs. Oh well.

I think 1.04 fucked up my monitor with their various graphics changes because suddenly it died after playing a good bit yesterday. Typing from TV output now, but since this is mainly to watch downloaded shows, I can't really game from this position.

I always laugh at DH's in A3 public games, any mob farts on them they just die instantly and they sit in awe laughing at how my WD just sits there bossing. Sure I don't have 100k dps but he's a tough mother fucker.

A3 mobs have the worst hitboxs ever. Shaman, morlocks, spearman, quills, etc.. You have to SP and SS nonstop. Or have good tanks and LOH/life leech. Also knowing the areas and mobs help.

Its just a terrible class, a complete let down from the Amazon from D2. I don't know how people can play glass cannons with the lag+rubberbanding along with questionable hit boxes in this game. I was in a game with a DH who was bragging about his 200k dps and he died every champ pack while the rest of us died 3 times the whole run.
