It's a defensive skill, you're supposed to use it to move away from mobs, not on top of them to deal damage.
ok, and obviously having the skill do damage adds an offensive component to it.
regardless of the intent/design of the skill, we should really be focusing on how blizz got to this point in the first place. it's pretty clear how much they care to test things and that their idea of "balance" is just to just play darts with damage ranges. i really don't care that it'll be nerfed. i DO care that it's yet ANOTHER example of their ridiculous lack of foresight and direction when it comes to balancing. good fuckin thing there's a slew of long term games coming out that i can't wait to play cause if i'm gonna be playing one, it can't be rudderless like D3.
lmao love it, dude got all butthurt when I asked how much real $$$ he spent on his 200k dps WD because theres no way he found all perfectly rolled gear or bought it all from the gold AH. Every piece of armor was near perfect on int rolls and sockets.
He got really butthurt when I said "I wish I had 2,000$" to have a leet WD like that" The funny thing is, he didn't even deny it.
Sounds like someone from d2jsp. I know some of the guys on there that still actively trade on D2 and whatnot and most of them have spent hundreds of thousands of the forums currency gearing their D3 characters. One guy I know said he's spent the equivalent of about $6000 worth of the forums currency on two items alone. Elitist guys on there always posting pictures of 200k+ DPS characters.
how are you guys doing plvl wise?
i'm at 30 but my interest has waned as of late. might be fun to race someone!
Fresh 29... my goal is 50 before the end of the year. Any more than that is just icing for me lol.
I've been leveling all my characters, so my highest is lvl 8 on my DH. If my vile wards sell, I'll pimp out one of my characters and level it.
I'm almost p.lvl 25 on my WD. So glad pets got fixed.
i heard something about MF not working right on pet kills, is that true?
also, what are the stats on your ward, dimm?
lvl 96 paragon sprint barb streaming right now.
hilarious cause he's not even picking up any rares: legendary only

o_O How is he maintaining berserk? Already knew sprint / whirlwind was OP, but with Berserk that's just OP, anyone know what rune setup he'd be using?
I run the same setup, though I'm not as geared. You do Thrive on Chaos (gain 1 second of Berserker duration every 25 fury you gain) for Wrath, then Battle Rage + Into the Fray, which gives crits a chance to generate 15 fury. Combine that with sprint/tornadoes, ww/hurricane, Unforgiving, and Superstition, and you pretty much infinite WW/Wrath. Until you run out of shit to kill. Even then, with Bash/extra fury rune, you can keep up Wrath on bosses/single targets.
wtf outta nowhere 96
had no idea people were even 75+ '-';
Infinite Berserk is pretty easy. You just need to create at least an average of 25 fury per second. Easily achievable with bash/extra fury rune. When you upgrade from crap gear to mediocre gear you can even use cleave instead of bash.
A double-whirlwind build focuses on using battle rage/into the fray and a high crit rate to give you back fury as you spend it with whirlwind.
Somebody created and posted the double-whirlwind build at pretty much the same time I created and posted the infinite berserk build. People figured out that if your gear was good enough you could actually combine both of these builds and end up with a super mega killing machine build of awesome.
edit: lol saw him rubberband in the stream. Why is that still fucking happening. Lurn2code/network d3 devs.
Haha, guess I shouldn't have scrapped my barb26 way back!
Well, I'm not really geared enough to farm Inferno solo, so when I still actually played, I ran Hell runs. So I killed pretty quickly. But yeah, I saw the two builds separately and combined them. Pretty sure deadgye was where I saw the infinizerk build.
