World of Warcraft - English (NA) Forums -> Forums Now Read-Only

All forums on the official World of Warcraft forums will be temporarily switched over to read-only mode. While we would like to make every effort to ensure the forums allow the community to interact with each other, the current situation does not allow for this, or allow Blizzard to relay information to the community. Thus, all forums will be available as read-only to allow us to share information with the public. We hope that we can keep the limitation of access to a minimum and revert the forums to full functionality as soon as possible.

Looks like the bug giving out free PvP gear, which was after the massive mailbox fail, which was after the massive QQ over the Wrath events finally pushed someone's anger button for the last time.

On the other hand, no Blizzard forumites pissing themselves over patch day for Wrath. Woo!

(Ironically, my gaming computer is dead, making getting Wrath a moot point.)

Edit: Despite this blue post, people are still posting, just fine. Short break, or just a warning?

R&D is useful at very rare times when instances have problems with them. For some reasons the bugs are usually reported there before the bug forum.

Truth. The point was that they even had to get to the point of a lockdown on the forums. There's been a lot of stress, more so than the usual whiners going off on their pet peeve of the minute- and that even after it'd been taken off, the blue post was left stickied on the top of the boards.

It just because of it's veteran day (tuesday) and the servers are down for almost 24hrs.

Oh yea... next day morning the servers going back to maintainance again lol
