    I read what they said as 1-2% complete of total planned content, not just Maze Mongers.
    I think BRP is right on this, about being 10% of it (maybe more to me), and the other % is all the northlands, etc stuff.

    No, that the total planned content for FFXI is only 1-2% done after all these years. That's how I read what you said anyway.

    You're reading it wrong.... They said they implemented 2% of Maze monger, which mean they will add 1000 more useless triggers eventually, instead of the 20 we have right now.

    If they start making more specific runes (ie: 1 for every NM or monsters type, stats increase like the one in pankration), I can see why they would say "2%", even if it's misleading.

    To clarify, my impression of that 1-2% was the completion of WotG expansion, and not of all the content ever released. I see very little added in WotG, but a lot of things being tweaked constantly in it, so 1-2% of WotG content seems reasonable (consider me naive and that I actually believe SE is "accurate" for a change). I guess I also consider Moblin maze mongers part of the expansion, even though it doesn't use any [S] area. While I see MMM being say about 5% of it, I'm sure (hoping) that SE will add some other nice things to the expansion pack, in addition to fixing mob layout again so that there are more party spots, and areas for bsts to use as well (give us nice areas for 50-60 please). Well, ok, I'm not so much fussed about party areas as bst spots, but I'd like more than 1 choice of where to go in the past from 20-45 (although rdm/bst from 16-41 in week was nice, when you have refresh).

    There is no way they add 50 times more stuff than there is currently. We still have a good chunk of campaign implemented, campaigns ops, SCNM, many NMs, jobs, AFs. There is 5 area left and some tweak...but that's definitively not 50 times bigger than the current content.

    1-2% does not mean 1-2% of the runes, but rather the other all content of the MMM. If they even add...12 more runes for the other jobs? (cant think how many other jobs there are besides original 6), that will exponentially increase the possibility's and increase the variations of areas and things you can do in the MMM

    If they add a couple other runes aside from jobs, NMs or other things like that, it will increase it exponentially again. NM + X Job = This maze, rinse and repeat for other jobs and there is 20 more mazes.

    I highly doubt you even need WotG installed to use MMM seeing as it's in Jeuno...

    You are correct sir; the fight's take place in Everbloom Hollow, yet you're still technically in Jeuno so you'll use Signet there and not Sigil.

    That could change, there are runes for all 3 zones under environment.

    What's the list of Vouchers? It could be that's the reason all of the new mazes are in Everbloom by default.

    Correction: Vana'diel was approximately 20-25% complete pre-ToAU/post-CoP.

    Post-ToAU, we got another 10-15% of the world. If they opened up Far East (Tenzen's home), Far West (Ulbiqia), Far South (Great Southern Empire/Olzihrya), and Far North (Orcish Empire/Old Elvaan Settlements/Gigas Empire), that'd give us the other 70-75% of Vana'diel.

    That's if they plan to release all that.

    The 1-2% complete, as others have said, is only about the content in MMM. Hopefully more prizes and the rest of the Runes will be released in future updates.

    I did two runs tonight and it was pretty fun. First run was a bust; my friend and I ran out of time. We got 9 Undead Toads on first floor then 9 Earth Elementals on second floor. I went DNC and my friend went RNG/NIN.

    Second run I stayed DNC, but we got an LS mate from my social LS to come as WAR. My friend changed to RDM/SCH. This time using my Tabula we got 9 Skeletal BLMs and 9 Saplings. The saplings were the worst-- they link and they will spam that Sleepga-move. We beat it though with 50 seconds to spare. We got 666 XP and 15 Marbles plus two runes but couldn't lot fast enough for them to drop. ><

    My friend and I are already concocting up different "blueprints" for future mazes already. We're even considering using these Mazes as "training grounds" for new members on how to deal with certain types of monsters and how to work together fighting them. We're thinking that maybe one of the Runes (Maze Rune 013 - Gargantuan Foes) will be released and allows us to fight HNMs in MMM. That would be nice to practice on.

    They fucking damn well better, that's the only reason I look forward to new expansions (and why I'm not looking forward to the mini-expansions). The dev team can be a bunch of assholes, but their area designers are fantastic. I sometimes imagine what they could do for a more advanced game, they might actually create something immersive. I was probably more disappointed than most people when I learned WOG was gunna be in the past and would therefore be mostly a cop & swap. I do like the new areas and the changes to the old areas were better than I expected, but I really wanted a brand-new continent to explore.
