As to Jerseyprophet; you have such a hard-on for trying to discredit the current BG. I don't understand it, neither you nor old BG plays anymore. The newer BG makes far less claims of their awesomtivity, and let me tell you it is certainly contested by other linkshells on Bahamut. I'm not as arrogant to say BG IS #1 ON BAHAMUT FOREVER. (Though I will say "tonight", because well, everyone saw that Tiamat vid and I remember mocking it in Kinzuru).

There are people in BG who think the pearl entitles them to the entirety of BG's Legacy from the creation of the original pearl until now, it doesn't, and most of the good people in BG know. Tsukasaz didn't, he constantly whined about wanting old BG back, which is laughable considering he's even further away from old BG than myself. At least I did end-game at the same time of old BG to a degree, competed with them, then joined when some of the all-star cast still played. "Some", I remember being in LS with Vudoo, Lito, Ed, etc but they all played very sparingly. I don't know why you ever make a big deal about me claiming to be part of the original BG when I am far from it and know it.

You still have some love affair with Kazoku, I get it. That's cool, you can have a soft spot in your heart for your old friends but I'm sorry to say there was a distinct reason I left that linkshell, and shitty leadership was part of it. The leadership has remained the same, and I find obtaining accounts through "secret asian secrets" to be kind of, well, annoying, immoral, those kinds of words. God forbid I form opinions of people and voice them, much like you are now!

I mean really now, if you've ever been part of any LS, guild, etc they always have inflated egos regarding themselves. When I was in Kazoku, everyone thought they were the best, when I was in Kinzuru, the same, and BG? Same thing. It doesn't really matter. Despite this, you can't really compared old BG and new BG in terms of "skill", because I don't see the correlation between being able to kill things in FFXI efficiently to killing things in WoW efficiently. Entirely different system, at least it seemed to be when I dabbled in WoW. While, it is true, old BG did play FFXI, that was years ago. You talk about people bukkaking themself in the face talking about how great new BG is, when you do the same goddamn thing to old BG! Nobody is so perfect and pristine as you make them out to be.

And really "SOME OF US REMEMBER WHY THIS PAGE WAS FAMOUS", it wasn't much to do with BG itself, so much as the idea of a ranking system for HNM LS, and to talk about HNMs on the forums related to it. The videos drew people in too, widely distributed, WiffleBall, etc But the site didn't boom past Bahamut-only scope until Big Kills. Old BG invented Big Kills, Forums got well-known, old BG quit, new BG was born, forums are getting more and more famous.
