lol. the people who should/deserved to know, knew. Those that didn't, didn't. It's as simple as that. for the people talking about bans:

The "process" used in game mechanics with ZERO hacks or forced cheats (i.e. pos hacking takes game data on your computer, changes it and sends false data packets back to SE. This is illegal as it is doing something outside of the game.)

As such they're not gonna ban anyone because no one "cheated" in the black and white sense of the word.

It won't be a huge BG joke when half of BG does get banned because SE cares more about their game than their money.

Duping Diablo II items is no different than in FFXI. It's just that Square-Enix has a terms of service.

To them, banning you is nothing. To [you], you lose years of building up your character. I just don't think SE rewards their player base enough. We should be running the show, not them. Their paychecks come from us. We cheat to compensate for what they can't give us. That's my rationalization. I'm proud of "cheating."

Thats the sad thing, why does it take some sandy vaginas of people whose groups either suck at salv or who dont even go at all or suck at this game in general (lol at ratatapas group wiping to Odin) to fix this. You dont like the bug, nobody cares, dont use it. Why go and cry to a GM to ruin the fun of other people, it doesnt influence you at all. 1. Salvage is easy as shit, there is no need to dupe cells.

2. You have to have to armor to drop to make this work in the first place.

3. Yes it worked with alex, and that isnt a bad thing.

4. Most of the people here didnt know about this for 2 years.

5. No one will get banned, there is no way to track it and no way to tag the items.
