I thought I had time to sneak in Man on Fire as #1 before people started listing it. I really thought I was the only person who thought it was one of the best movies ever.

It's funny because if I remember correctly the movie was Ripped hard by critics and yet I've yet to find anyone who's seen it and doesn't love it.

I like Man on Fire...there is no denying that. But never found it to be memorable what so ever. Seriously...I remember like two scenes from the entire movie. I own it though, maybe I will give it another look over.

But there are many movies such as Fight Club that I find tooons of people raving over that I just don't. That's not to say I don't like them, because I do. I just don't see what the big deal is. Fight Club fans drive me nuts the most because they call it so deep and says it changed their life as if they couldn't think for themselves and 'rage against the machine' before a movie. I don't mind people being fans of movies...because I am as well. But I don't constantly call somebody a retard for not agreeing with my taste in movies. Which I find most Fight Club fans to do.

I could probably recall every scene in Man on Fire. I agree about a lot of overrated movied in my opinion. Fight Club, The Fountain, Gladiator (sorry, this is fact), and any M. Night film are overrated. Top 10?

The rest is just fuzzy, throw in Hard Candy, Crash, E.T., Oceans 11 (just 11), Memento, The Fall, The Green Mile, and possibly Slumdog Millionaire (probably just because it's fresh and had one of the best closing 20 minutes to a movie as you can get).

Brilliant movie with stunning graphics. Would probably be in my Top 25.

I think the reason I liked "The Fall" so much is that it had something for everyone. Someone in their 20's and 30's could appreciate the brilliant storytelling and fantastic cinematography and a 9 year old could understand the plot and get something out of the movie. I can't really think of a negative thing to say about it other than the ending, I thought, could have been better. I don't know how exactly, but I think they could have wrapped it up much better.
