This is only day one of my desktop rejuvenation program, I am still to put my PC's hardware in, and create a huge mess and ruin the new feeling of the whole thing.

one more pic for the sake of having one more pic:

Looks good, Blab, I could almost read that incriminating document on your desk in the first pic, but not quite!

The day I got my new monitors.

What it looks like now. The Dell monitor (between the speakers) is connected to the blue LED'd case under the desk via DVI, and the PS3 via HDMI. The 22" hanging is connected to the converter box on top of the PS3, I use it as a TV. It also has a VGA cable tucked away if I need to connect something. The other 24" (Acer) is connected to my Lenovo X61 via the dock (VGA). The keyboard and mouse go to it as well. It's setup now so I can work on the go, come home and continue without needing to move files around. The keyboard is a Dell clicky that I painted black.

Personally I'd move the PS3 away from the rest of the electronics and in to a more open area, possibly up on top of the shelf there, as it tends to get hot as fuck/blow out a lot of hot air. But other than that, awesome set up.

It doesn't get that hot during the winter, in the summer I throw an in-window AC unit behind that Acer monitor to keep the room at 55-62F. What you can't see from the picture is that the receiver is actively cooled with a 80mm fan that pushes air up towards the PS3. It gets warm, but nothing too bad. The PS3 has a heatsink and fan about the size of a dinner plate, so I'm not too worried about it.

That was part of the reason yeah.. it wouldn't fit in the bottom compartment and there's a radiator that runs behind the desk so that's a bad spot. I still need an intake fan on the front of the case to help bring down the temps on the gpu..

    oh yeh inside shot:

Old desk as I was using for a good year. Finally decided to get a new desk and am very pleased for 90 bucks spent.
