My complaint is healers/tanks ninjaing dps gear from the new 5mans, 3 times today ive had something that i could actually use on my new 80 ninja'd by some dick whos not even going to use it in the near future.

My complaint is dps not stopping to think about the fact that tanks/healers have a really hard time getting offspec gear outside of 5 mans because it's not their "spec roll" for the raid and getting pissed at them for rolling on that 5 man dps gear that is likely replaceable within a week or two on a raiding schedule.

Eh if i win something and I see the dps putting effort on their gear/dps i'll just trade to them

My solution to those complaints are to not care about getting gear in 5 mans because it is easily replaceable in many ways.

probably has more to do with the fact that I can't get a healer that can keep people alive during the 3rd boss.

that boss dies in like 30 seconds. 80% of the time he doesnt even get a chance to tele port

Not every slot is easily replaced. I don't think I've ever been in H.PoS where every single caster didn't roll on NMI. Slots like Wrists, Trinkets and Off-hands are always pretty competitive from 5-mans, due to them being the sharpest rolls in 10-25 man raids. It's common on a fresh 80 to jump from ilvl 200 -> 232 -> 264 but the wait between jumps can be agonizing, and you hate to be 'that guy' whose frost badge 264 trinket is a terrible choice but your only other choice is something that drops off Coren Direbrew. :/

I'm currently using a bobo sword I got off H ToC 5 man. I've been trying to get Rimefang's Claw as a replacement. Seriously, some gear really isn't that easy to replace lol. The best place I can think of is VoA, but I have a hard time getting into those too >_>'

Its whatever though. It wouldn't bother me so much if it was just PUGs, but my guild is pretty persnickety about that shit too, even if its an alt run.

I've only ever seen Rimefang drop once, and managed to get it :D

But I just can't tank Hc HoR, get to wave 7/8, and just can't keep the mobs all together. It's getting really really frustrating now, but have done it on normal no problems.

Having someone with a ranged silencing attack is pretty much the only way to get those last waves pulled cleanly, so yeah it sucks, just blow heroism or something to burn down the first targets to reach you.

I meant time consuming. Took me a week to get it (got it last night).

That's only 7 runs of PoS if you don't include the lucky random runs, Needle encrusted scorpion/banner of victory/black heart are much harder to get because pretty much any class can roll Need on them (And the latter 2 are normal dungeons so you have to wait longer on queue or form a group). Whereas for the weapon you can do ToC/PoS/HoR/FoS all of them drop acceptable tanking weapons. Or even UP

For ToC normal just grab a tank and healer friend and trio it. It was easy enough till one of the runs I grabbed all 3 of the adds before Confessor/Eadric. So many Fountains, lol...

I zone back into gurubashi arena to see an empty place with the chest up, go to open and a hunter pops from shadowmeld and attacks me. I wreck his face in 3 seconds and collect my greater healing potion. Then I stealth to kill him again and I get right next to him and sap wont go off so he mounts up and runs off. Yep
