Can't they just give 85's access to gryphons in all areas when dead? I mean, I understand that I do deserve some kind of punishment since I should be wary of the dangers of hitting my Disengage Macro instead of Kill Shot while standing with my back to the cliff in Sethria's Roost since there's the slight chance of me jumping straight into an area of Felwoods that is completely inaccessible by foot, but should I really be forced to ressurect at the graveyard?

On that note, what's the exact point of mobs not dropping anything whatsoever if they're killed by my pet alone? I really don't see afk-farming/exping being all that profitable, but it most certainly did influence the effort I had to put into something when I forgot to set my pet to passive and it one-shot one of the random mobs you release from those Ethereum Prison things, forcing me to farm a key again since I obviously had nothing better to do than wasting 15-30 minutes of my life due to outdated game mechanics.

Don't know, I think the latter is an issue in general. I might be a little lazy, but I just dislike the idea of having to disable my pet, an extension of myself, if I want to finish quests or get drops because it can be used for a more than inefficient approach of exping. Of course, I can just gather mobs myself, then disengage and multi-shot or whatever floats your boat, but it's a little too inconvenient for my liking since it restricts me from a mechanic I'd normally use for completely arbitrary reasons.

Convenience is also pretty much why I'd want flying ghost gryphons everywhere, but I don't recall any other areas except Hyjal where it's an issue anyway, so I suppose I can live with that, especially because it might play a role in open world PvP.

Which reminds me, is asking how many people there are in the raid before joining a new fad? Not even bothering answering those /tells anymore. If I'm shouting for Sunwell and get four tells in the first ten minutes asking me how many people there are and then not joining then it's just becoming stupid. How busy can people pretend to be?

Well, i wouldn't join a Sunwell pug (it's easily trioable, most of it is duoable but Brutallus seems to present issues with 2), but I most definitely used to ask how many people were in a raid if I were planning to pug it. It's not about pretending to be busy, it's about the fact I'd rather do anything than sit in town and wait for a raid to fill. It's less of an issue now that most pug things are 10man anyway, but joining a 25man pug with 3 people means you may be sitting around for a full hour sometimes, just not really something that's fun to do.

With 25 man raids, that's a given, no doubt.
However, the exact nature of the older raids you describe, being doable with anything from 1-5 people, is why it's irritating me here. I usually do Sunwell with 5 people (lack of friends right now, sad, yes). Now I get 4 tells and all of them ask me how many people I have and, of course, no one joins, even though one guy joining would be a significant step towards the desired amount of members already. I understand that people don't want to wait, but as far as older raids and the low amount of people needed for them are concerned, it seems like these guys want to be the last one to join the raid so their waiting time is exactly 0, and that's just plain rude and inefficient in my opinion.

lol @ the post about DK T13 and why it's taking so long....so it can be pretty much assumed they are NOT going back and spending time creating new DK tier for the Vanilla > BC sets to bring DKs up to the same number as other classes....instead it's just taking them forever to make a single tier set because what they did make looked like total ass (or more ass then the other sets)

I don't get it, they specifically said it looked worse than they wanted so they are re-doing it. Would you rather them redo it before 4.3 goes live, or implement their shit? Internal QA is a great thing, and people should be happy they are re-doing it rather than releasing it? How are you complaining about this of all things.

I would have rather known that all this time had been spent making other tier sets for Transmog to fill our catalog as well. They say it looked terrible, but yet we don't have any pictures so I can't agree or disagree with them. Hell 1/2 the tiers they put out and call "good looking" look terrible in a lot of people's opinions, so maybe this was actually an amazing looking set, or a steaming pile of shit. I'd like to see a picture though.

How many weeks has it been w/o any word on the topic. Sure it was obviously still being worked on..but how about some updates from Blizzard about it or at least a single line post saying "It's coming along, don't worry".

All the DKs and complaining has done is made it less likely for Blizzard to preview future armor tiers before they are accessible. I don't recall them ever doing this before. It's like they give the community something extra, and all the DKs can say is it's unfair that their set is getting a workover and isn't ready yet...even though nobody's is technically ready because they arent even available on PTR? They give something extra, and it's met by nothing but complaints.

I really don't see the need for them to state the obvious. No, they aren't deleting your class and that's the reason the sets aren't posted. Sounds like there was a bunch of wishful thinking set up (giving more tier sets to transmog...), now the DKs are mad their wishful thinking didn't pan out and need to rage, so they are raging on the closest related topic - DK sets not being previewed 2+ months before they are ready!!

They gave you an update now, they probably didn't before because they thought it'd be out last week or this week maybe originally, but now they gave you one, and you really needed a little reassurance that the set was indeed being developed, and how do you react? Negatively and laughing at it (which really, I laughed at it to when I read it, but mine was "no shit, assumed as much, thanks for sharing."

Why would you care at all about an armor set. You will look at it and be like "oh cool" or "eh whatever" and then the hype will be over within seconds.
