So we picked up a new mage last night to replace our Legendary mage (who was terrible) who quit a few weeks after getting staff. We also have a pug Spriest come in that we've pugged with before, who is a BIG TIME PVPHERO or so he thinks (he can't break 2k lol).
So Heroic Cunning drops off first boss. Mage is so fucking bad, hes behind the tank on dps, i dont know how the fuck. But, he is in our guild now. He wins Cunning of course, and the spriest fucking rages. He loses it, goes afk for a bit. Doesn't do some trash. Then whines the rest of the night. Heroic slime drops Heroic insignia, spriest wins that and begs mage to trade for 2 hours. Mage doesnt trade cause his second trinket behind cunning is RF insigna. Spriest turned into a whiny bitch, so we'll never reinvite. Mage we have to fucking teach how to play his class and hand feed. Lose-lose.
Any alliance mages want a raid spot? 4/8 Heroic lol. We'll carry and feed loot!

DK - nothing, hand token will be nice to complete my offcolour set though, however I am growing a lot of dislike for DK T13 in general. I might just keep my normal set and call it

Paladin - Spine healing trinket, and some shared healing trinkets would be cool, but I don't care too much

I was tanking on DK in DPS gear in 2nd half of LFR to collect my VP. The "leader" (10k dps rogue) kept on complaining that am I going to be tanking in that gear. My co-tank, in full pvp DK, got a pass. Eventually I topped DPS in 2 fights but wiped on Warmaster due to lack of healers. As I was top DPS there, some people didn't realise I was in DPS gear, and considered the raid sucked (someone said "wtf tank is top dps"), so a lot of them just rage quit.
The "leader" kept complaining I was a drain on mana and I should put some tank gear on, I shouted back it's the other tank's fault for just dying and not knowing what to do and is in full pvp gear, I was tanking both adds and warmaster full time, so bitch at him instead. I then added "haha, a 10k dps rogue in LFR who thinks he knows more" -- Then I promptly got removed lol, but that's what happens in LFR. Sheep.
Found a group 3 min later who were all cool and relaxed and finished LFR up promptly
My only peeve with dps tanks in LFR is when they surprise their offtanks and healers with it on yor'sahj. Kinda sucks for the healers when the hits suddenly start getting huge on the other tank because the dps tank can't hold aggro.
Ah that's the magic with DK DPS tanks-- I will never lose aggro. Unless the offtank decides "OMG I SHOULD BE DOING MY JOB" and taunts randomly, which they do, with hilarious consequences. The fun thing is making the offtank (or the "proper" tank) spam taunt.
Otherwise, according to the logs, on LFR Hagara I took 800k damage for about 75% of the fight. The offtank suddenly decides he wants to tank, a Warrior. For the remaining portion of the fight he took 1.2mil damage
Most of my damage was mitigated via extreme Death Strike usage (all my blood/spare runes and Rune tapped runes go towards that)

Related, I did manage to get into my first TB ever this weekend, and it was a win, but after all the fail, I'm not even celebrating the accomplishment.
Why would a dps tank not be able to hold aggro and why would you care like... at all... about yorsajh debuff?
- The Doctor Is In (Level 10) - Increases healing received from bandages by 25%. Does not work in battlegrounds and arenas. Replaces Chug-A-Lug.
- For Great Justice (Level 20) - Increases Justice points gained by 20%. Replaces Happy Hour.
- Ride Like the Wind (Level 21) - Increase flight path travel speed by 25%. Replaces Have Group, Will Travel.
- Working Overtime (Level 22) - Increases the chance to gain a skill increase on tradeskills by 20%. Replaces Chug-A-Lug.
- Time Off (Level 27) - Increases rest gained by 100%.
- Otherworldly Discounts (Level 30) - Reduce Void Storage and Transmogrification costs by 10%.
What a bunch of crap besides Working Over Time, fuck them.

GRGOUGDUPGOUIG I hate those assholes in BGs who talk shit about everyone in there, what the hell do you honestly expect in PUGs? Go form a fucking premade if you want a guaranteed win, for fuck's sake.
I have been doing a shitload of BGs the past few days and I've found that the win/loss ratio is honestly about even, you'll get some completely fucktard fail groups and some completely amazing groups (though they seem to come in clusters, honestly) but man, fuck that one guy who is all like OMG SRS BISNSS GUYZ U ALL SUCK NUBS L2P when if he spent half the time he spent typing to berate others he'd be actually contributing to the fucking BG. I take a loss for what it is. Win some and lose some, I end up with more Honor than I started with regardless. Jesus shit.
Which isn't to say that I never get frustrated when I stumble upon especially fail groups, but no reason to talk shit, use the /bg channel to discuss strategy and not to troll? Or is that asking too much ...
Can't form premades with more than 5. Also if you join with a premade of less than 5 you're like guaranteed to get all pugs on your team and 2/3 sets of 5 on the opposing.
The honor grind is retarded beyond all belief and has been since bg's appeared.

Also you're totally right about wins/losses coming in clusters, the key to the least painful bg's is to stop playing when you're getting shit teams and keep going when you're getting good ones, because they tend to stay really consistent for a few hours at a time.
Pretty certain the debuff is stronger on 10 man heroic and that's a 1 tank fight with 2 heals...
