KJ queues getting even worse... almost 1700 on a Wednesday night, just short of 2 hours (supposedly...)

yeah I got in queue an hour ago for my raid that's not for another 2 hours from now, still over 30 mins left on queue

I was thinking about transferring off with the free transfer but since what I really want is to go to an EST server (only on PST because of FFXI friends who played and we all got on this server, most don't play anymore or have already moved to other servers), it seemed a waste to transfer. If Blizz had let me choose an EST server on the list, I would have been all over that shit.

I don't know what it would really hurt when they do the free transfers to say, "Okay, anyone on KJ who wants to transfer can choose from one of the following realms:" and then give a choice of four or five low pop servers, maybe two of them PvP servers on PST, one PvP on EST, and maybe a PvE server. They would entice a lot more people to move off these crowded servers.

I wouldn't take an xfer, especially if it's free. Dead WoW servers stay dead. I made an alt horde on a different server (back when you had to) and put him on a very low pop server. I quit, came back over a year later and the server pop was still dead.

I don't really care about the server pop though, anything I do that requires social interaction is done through randoms anyway. I was hoping to get to an EST server really for the time thing, having my dailies reset at 6AM blows.

Current complaint, I am hovering in Undercity on my rogue which I just took out to level for a bit, she's hovering on a flight bat just at the flight master - which has yet to pop, no NPCs have popped - and not landing. Just fucking d/c me already ... it's been seven minutes. I appear stuck. What. The. Fuck. Oh, and I can't do anything. Not even log. If I force quit I'm going to be stuck in the goddamn queue again. FFFFFFFUUUUU-

you don't get stuck in the queue from force quit or dc or whatever, you have about 5 minutes before it makes you go through it

I'm pretty sure the moment you're talking about is when the entire server died earlier tho heh, so yeah no queue around that since all the bots take a while to get back on.

^^ Social interaction isn't the point of high pop. Especially with the new trend of world bosses and pvp (if you're into that). But, my main reason for needing high pop is the economy. Dead servers mean a dead AH with poor selection and slow sales.

My server is dead (24 people in org during prime time). I'm leveling here to get around dealing with tons of people getting in my way, plus having every ore node uncontested is amazing since ore sells for 120-150g a stack here. Selling it all and making bank before I hit 90 and transfer off. Looking at a guild on mal'ganis right now. Any one know how queues there have been?

Getting tired of these broken quests pretty quickly. I can't finish Battle Helm of the Thunder King because the npc randomly changes phases mid quest, and I can't do The Ashweb Matriarch because I've started the quest line requiring the Battle Helm (abandoning doesn't fix it).

Apparently grouping with someone cross realm fixes it though. Anyone else stuck on this crap that wants to get it done?

My guild has a Resto druid doing 22k HPS and 2 Mages doing sub 30k dps on every fight. Help me kill the bads please

Im in a 25 man guild. Anything below thirty is unacceptable. Also you can 1 heal in LFR

Not that I'm upset about those, but when your login announcement says they're starting at 11:00 PDT which is 14:00 here, I think I have an hour to get a couple dailies done. Then they do them at 10:00 PDT! Blizz fails time forever.

Seems to be more than a rolling restart since not only did they go down quite early, they are also staying down.

Gonna be hard to find good players in Gorgonnash, server is semidead, most good players from old guilds moved to other servers or quit after Wotlk/Cata, Epidemic, Blood Faith, Downfall, the singapour guys from Afterlife and my 10 man guild (which is just me cuz i love to have access to extra inventory thanks to bank tabs xD ).
