Yes. It's solely a DRM-free storefront for primarily old games. Download the installer from your library of games (via web browser or GoG's own download manager), install game, play.

GOG takes old games and goes through a fair bit of work to ensure functionality with modern systems. They also distribute modern indies as an alternative to Steam.

Aren't they the only place that does this with older PC titles? I think they are going to be in business for quite some time. They need to get on Full Throttle and Breath of Fire IV.

My only complaint is you can't link your GoG and Steam libraries for keeping track of what you have. I've nearly bought Deponia and Resonance/Gemini Rue a second time.
(Also if you could use your Steam library to qualify for partial GoG bundles... but that'd never happen. =\ )

BoF IV is on the PSN, you probably won't ever see the PC version ever come up for purchase.
More of the LucasArts catalog needs to come online though, Steam has Loom, The Dig, Indiana Jones, and Monkey Island, but we still need Sam & Max, Grim Fandango, Day of the Tentacle, and as you say, Full Throttle.
