Does Garry's Mod have a large community? When I played it way back on v9, the community online was fairly small, and there was really no way of telling what the server was hosting without having to go in and see for yourself.

Did 10 ever 'structure' it more, say, into modes or something? So I could tell when something is a sandbox, or a race, or a game of some sort? Tempted to grab it at $5.

Damn, v10 of Garry's Mod is miles better than 9. Better interface and overall performance.

Made me a controllable mine-cart that had independently controlled wheels on it and a usable seat inside. Had troubles designing a stunt course for it though, but that'll come with time. Also had a stupid moment with my bro over LAN where we welding chairs to the top of a train, attached thrusters to its rear, threw some balloons up, and make that thing fly in circles/loop-de-loops in the air. Most fucking retarded thing I've ever done in a game.....

I'm really regretting not having picked up that large-ass Indy pack for $30 from a month or so ago.

At any rate, I'm extremely tempted (yet again) to grab Braid, but I'm still holding out in hopes of a PS3 port date being set soon, as I'd prefer to play it with a controller, and hoarde me some trophies. >.>

I bought the pack and it was pretty shit. If I had paid full price for it I would have been absolutely pissed. The good games are World of Goo, Everyday Shooter, Braid, and Crayon Physics Deluxe. Everything else is pretty bad.

The Red Faction one is all weekend, Dawn of War goes whenever they feel like it, since it's still Wednesday's deal. Is Red Faction: Guerrilla any good? Not sure if this was mentioned else where but Killing Floor is free to play for this weekend. Played it for the first time and thought it was a good alternative to things like L4D.

I have the retail copy of COD4 and added it to my steam favorites but no perks. I don't think there are any steamperks for cod4 on steam but supposedly there will be for MW2 though.
