Anyone else heard of this? If so, what are your thoughts~
First I've heard of it, and it's about fucking time.
We love reading manga online, we'll keep doing it one way or another, they should be trying to get in on it, not shutting it down.
How many of you would happily buy some of your favorite manga collections off the sites you read them online from, just for the satisfaction of owning them, reading them in person, having the collection on your shelves?
Having an officially uploaded version online, not an amateur scanlation, all that shit.

As much as I enjoy reading them all for free, if these were very well done, I wouldn't mind paying a little bit for them.
I've never really been a fan of owning comics/manga since I always feel like I would end up spilling something on them, or ripping them. A digital copy of them would be nice though.
My favorite site (spectrum) just added Souleater. Seems like a good time to pick it up, but... it seems more like Bleach, not enough like One Piece.
What is a manga (shonen can apply) with the very intricate settings like One Piece and Hunter x Hunter? Naruto would be a series which falls just a bit short of what I want
I'd pay like.. a yearly subscription to read free manga, professionally done, online.
Soul Eater starts off really fun, but.. lately it's been eh at best. Still better than Bleach's repeated "I'M BEHIND YOU' shit.
And Naruto's been pretty awesome as late, especially the past arc, but can be pretty hit and miss as well.
If hadn''t read FMA yet, I'd suggest that obviously, but..
I really can't think of another manga that is similar to One Piece. It's so damn unique and epic. If you haven't read Vagabond though give that a try. It's a good read. Fairy Tail is decent, it's not amazing but not bad.
Edit: Nurarihyon no Mago is also another good read. It's starts off slow but picks up after the first few chapters.
What I've read of Eden it seems to have a really well crafted world. Haven't finished reading it, but I like it so far.
Edit: should've quoted BRP, but whatever.
Unfortunately I've already read both Eden and FMA. They were both good.
have you tried psyren?
Try Beelzebub if you haven't. Probably one of the funniest supernatural/action shounen mangas in SJ.

Bloody Monday starts off really good but it gets kind of repetitive after awhile. Everything is always a trap inside of a setup inside of a plan with a plot twist. Not on Death Note levels but annoying nonetheless.
A great ongoing series everyone should check out is Ubel Blatt. The art is wonderful and the story-line is fresh and original.
Not to contradict you here especially because I love Hajime no Ippo, but it has been shit awful bad lately. It's finally looking like it's coming out of it's slump, but it's hard to tell if that's true until Ippo has his next fight. Of course the earlier parts of the manga are great and I would highly recommend it even with the noticeable downturn it's taken lately.
Kenichi, The Breaker, Franken Fran, Vagabond, and Claymore are some of the few where I actively look forward to the next chapter.
