Loved the chapter. Lin is awesome like always. Only thing I'm worried about is the pacing until they end. I really hope they wont end it in 2-3 chapters...that would be way too fast.

    Spoiler: show

-Fuhrer need to meet his wife at least once
-They need to fight pride and give him his "sad" moment
-Ranfan/May need to do something useful
    -Hohenheim against Father
-Ed and Al need to finish the fight because you can't have a manga named Full Metal Alchemist when the main character never had a big fight (I'm still shocked he never won anything..mostly ran away from people stronger than him through the whole manga)
-Also need a few pages with the anti-spiral Ed/Al
-Hopefully and actual ending, and not just an open ending.

I would like to see 5-6 more chapters at least...anything less would feel rushed imo.

    Shit manga is shit.

The damn thing pulls so much shit out of their ass, it's not even remotely entertaining.

Also, FMA was awesome, but I wished there were more Lin/Greed vs Wrath, but I guess they're splitting this fight into a few chapters, hopefully with Ran Fan joining the fray now that Fuu is already in.

And Ed/Al may not have a conclusive fight with them being clear victor, but they do have a lot of awesome fights. I thought the Ed/Al vs Scar in central when Winry learned the truth was pretty amazing, and Ed vs Kimbley was pretty good too, though I wonder if Ed will actually fight with an intent to kill now, since he did realizes that he was too naive in his ideal on Kimbley's fight. Then again, I don't think there are any human enemy left for him to duke shit out where killing them would be an issue to his conscience.

I wasn't complaining at all. I really like both Ed and Al as main character. It's just that when you compare it to most shonen, Ed is getting a lot less decisive victory than your typical main character. He is definitively not useless or overshadowed by anyone in the manga.

Well, Ed did see the truth, so that make him one notch above most people, but yeah. He doesnt have mustang fighting experience.

His matchup werent totally fair either (often had one arm, was against Scar, or had many fight back to back).

It definitely doesn't seem to be as popular as FMA, always seems to take a few days longer than FMA to be released, even though I think they are in the same monthly magazine. =(

Really hoping to see how much more powerful Soul and Maka are together now, was kind of disappointed in them running away from everything in this chapter. =/

Finally remembered who the old guy in the last FMA chapter was.

He's the philosopher stone using doctor that fixed Kimbley up after the train event vs Scar.

FMA is quite possibly the best shounen* manga out right now. Just did myself a favor and reread all the chapters up to 98. I love it when it feels like the author actually has an overall plan for everything instead of the lolwut? moments so rampant in other shounens.

It's been my favorite read for the past 4 years or so I've been following it

My only beef with it is the monthly schedule, but what can you do, it could be a lot worse like Berserk, where it's on monthly schedules yet nothing really happens.

I use to enjoy History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi just for it's slapstick comedy but I tried reading a chapter after I was done with FMA and couldn't get past 2 pages lol. A great manga really brings out the crapfest of repetitive and regurgitated formulas in others.

Starts out with just being lots of perverted wizard/high school humor for the first three volumes, but it quickly gets very good when it gains focus (Kyoto Arc). Lots of subtle foreshadowing with things coming back around full circle. Plays with cliches and the fourth wall a lot, and is sometimes wittily self-deprecating. Has some surprisingly (but not out of place) deep points at times. Very expansive and colorful background history. Lots of very very epic characters.

Juushin Enbu. Suprised no one has mentioned it, since it's drawn by the same mangaka that does Full Metal Alchemist, though the author is different, it's also really good imo.
