Hey guys maybe don't engage in trades with characters that are likely to be banned for RMT. Remember how the RMT-Pwner works?
Most of the ones here are gone now, or at least there were 6-7 constantly moving in mines and now they are not, I assume it has something to do with FINAL FANTASY XI Official Web Site
Data Collection Period Banned Accounts Frozen Gil
3/1/2009 - 3/31/2009 11,070 Approx. 1.5 billion
But I see new rmt already being made and shoveled into mh D:
Hmm, are they desynthing RSE gear in their mog house? Haha...
Are they desynthable anyway? XD
Last time I did Dyna-Bastok we saw a chain of 10 or so Taru /anon RMT named run away from the moghouse, then shortly after run back, I don't think any said/did anything beyond going "WTF, did I just see a bunch of RMT run by?". Think SE needs to remove the 14-trial thing, if its still running, cuz how many new players are they seriously going to get now ?
they should leave the 14 day trial but leave it on a trial only server, when they activate give people a option to move to a server of their choice after paying for a subscription
or require the trial accounts be tied to a cc number and allow each cc to be used once or at least only allow 1 active trial per cc at a time. if all you need is an email address and a fake street address to sign up for a trial account, it's easy to make a machine to do it. if you need a new cc for every one of 5,000 accounts, then it starts to become a problem for the cgf to exploit.
I think it has to do with the proximity of the sales npc and the dbox
Oh yeah, Windy npc is way over in port, and Sandy is pretty close but dbox isn't.
You'd have to zone twice for the windy, or a long trip for sandy.
My bet is that they have somehow found a way using Open Mog to speed up the rate of how fast you can garden letting them do it extremely fast letting them NPC this stuff
I've been tracking this RMT group for weeks now. (Like others said, they do the same thing on Midgar.) They used to go to a vendor in a shop, then they seemed to "discover" that Proud Beard will buy stuff, so they only run to him now.
I reported this to a GM and the STF a month or more ago. They're still running around.
Small update note: NPC's will only buy from characters under level 5 once per game day, then they will say "GTFO AND LEVEL YOU NOOB!"
