With str mod, wouldn't Orc helm/Shura be better than genbu, and bahamut hose over Shura/Usukane/Hachiryu, also just use smiloden +1 for str?

It's 50/50 VIT/STR so Genbu's wins, I'm not sure about bahamuts hose I just use them so I get a better chance at a kick attack since I only usually get in around 10ish DKs in any given fight.

Generally STR > Most other Stats for WS's. Other then the Obvious ones. (Asuran Vists, Etc etc.) So I can say for myself (Hume) that I stack more STR then VIT.

However...You are Elvaan, And you get more STR then I do anyways. Sooo stacking an Equal amount of VIT might help you more? Seems you have more VIT then I do on Hume still.

This is my Opinion however, and my DK's seem do do decent Damage with the Setup that I have now. Needa tester methinks.

1 - TP set.
The only super amazing improvements I really feel can be made to this set are finishing my Usukane Haramaki (14/15 missing CC), and to rebuy my second Toreador's Ring which I sold to buy Dynamis currency. I've been holding out for them to make ToAU rings changeable so I could get Ulthalam's, but it's looking like they don't want to do that... ever. -.- Earring is Hollow, rings are Toreador's and Blood.

2 - Asuran Fists
I only really use my Monk in Salvage, and occasionally outside of Salvage, albeit rare. My food of choice is Marinara Pizza +1. This set gets consistent returns that I'm really content with. I carry around Shura Haidate to swap in for tougher mobs, but this usually does the trick for me.

3 - Chakra
Arguably, this set needs the most work. I never got a Genbucket back when I did sky a lot, which bit me in the ass when I decided to level MNK. My Chakra returns around 360 HP, and I just don't feel a strong will to improve this set until I can get a Kabuto (0/2 on trio'd pops since I've been trying to get it, with TH3+ both times).

4 - Dragon Kick / Howling Fist / Ascetic's Fury
This set is basically finished. Just needs some orchat lovin' and then it's done. Earring is Bushinomimi. Howling/Ascetic's use Usukane Sune-ate (don't have Denali Gamashes).

Acc aside 15 vit > 5-6 str for DK

50% each
15 * .5 * .83 = 6.225 dmg (so could be 7 but most likely to be 6)
6 * .5 * .83 = 2.49 with chance in 1-2 dmg increase by fstr, so 5 max vs 6 minimum DMG+

I am at work and also color-blind, so can't tell for sure all the gear you have. However, it seems to me, assuming as I do that you have full h2h merits, that you may have more accuracy than you need, at least in salvage. If you've parsed yourself and been under 95% with that gear and food, I'd be surprised.

Just a thought, but kudos on a well-built mnk.

Didn't Kick Attack+ on Bahamut Hose and Melee Hose work like DA when Footwork is up? Or did they ninja change that in some patch (if they did, prolly in the one in which they "fixed" new kick feet)? If it still does, it might work on your Footwork'd DK's?
