Year or 2 before I came to CU it was the #1 party school in the nation. The campus wasn't too happy with the honor and some people went and drank themselves to death so its cooled down. Still lots of partying. The scene gets kind of old though....

I have a friend who smoked/drank nearly everyday during undergrad and is now getting his Ph.D at Berkeley in genetic engineering or some other ridiculous science field. Some people just 'get it' naturally.

Anyways, while more and more people get arrested at Spring Weekend, I do not recall flaming couches galore this year. Also, majority of people arrested aren't UCONN students etc etc. So I think that plays into it, but I guess the administration here is able to keep shit under wraps well enough

Spring Weekend was pretty good when I got there (03) and got tamer year by year after that. A lot more security, the bracelet policies getting enforced, and cops cracking down more on the X lot antics. By the time I left a lot of people just pregamed at X-lot and then went off to the real parties off-campus.

Also I had to do deliveries for D.P. Dough during one weekend and freaking drunk girls go CRAZY over that shit! I do miss dp dough though
