I'm surprised San Diego isn't on there. I've always heard its nothing but a party school.

holy fuck D.P. Dough was awesome. I blame it for all my weight since Uconn cafe food sucks (except South).
I grad in '02 so I just missed you Ceph!
Also, I knew someone who got their car destroyed cause someone flipped a burning couch onto it. Insurance wouldn't cover it, cause they said she shouldn't have parked at X-lot on spring weekend. :/
On a semi-random note:
I found out a guy I knew from Uconn is on Saturday Night Live now.
Bobby Moynihan
I worked on plays at Uconn and I did The Boys Next Door which he was in. XD
Totally got trashed at one of his parties too...-.-; (made out with some random sax player from the Uconn Orchestra...)
The one in the middle. LOL

They stopped doing bracelets but unless you have UCONN ID on you you are in deep shit. X lot got teargassed this year lol so yeah getting cracked down haaard. In a semirelated aside regarding X-Lot, this kid I was pregaming with ended up at Arjona/Monteith at one point during the night eatting pinecones b/c he was high(on shrooms iirc). And idk if they did it back when you went here Ksandra but Whitney's Local Food dining is so much better than South or anywhere else. Overall I do think its gotten tamer but people also seem to start going crazy a day earlier with every year.
edit: Another reason why I think UCONN isnt on the list is same weekend that spring weekend was, Kent State's version of it had almost 2-3 times more people arrested, couches, flat screen tvs and other shit set on fire and resulted in the first time students have been assaulted on the campus since Vietnam so if UCONN can't reach that kind of anarchy we don't deserve to be on this list.
Dude see what I mean? Bitches be crazy for D.P. Dough.
I delivered them for about... a year and a half. No joke, I had girls grab my junk, get into my car and sit on my lap, and straight up offer beejs for dp dough (no, I never accepted) and i'll be the first to admit i'm not the best lookin dude, though my scruffy beard does attract the occasional lady
Anyway Uconn was good times, I just wish there was more to do around there. But I guess the fact it's in the middle of nowhere is a big reason there are so many parties.
UF's campus is racist as fuck. My friend wasn't allowed in a few of their bars because his pants were "too baggy".
FSU isn't bad. I go there a couple times a year and always have a good time.
Surprised to not see Alabama on there, went down there during their off week and shit was still bananas.
I have season tickets to the University of Tennessee games and shit up there is pretty crazy just with football alone. Basketball I never got an opinion on seeing how I don't really watch basketball too much anymore.
I take it all of these colleges have a road or a common hang out spot. U of Tenn is known for "The Strip."
UGA has three - Broad, Clayton, and Washington Street. I believe it is the highest numbers of bars per capita/sq ft/something. I've been touring SEC schools for a few years and its definitely one of the best.
As for the new "dress codes", they've been enforced at UGA for a few years now. UGA is an hour outside of any other major town/city so nearly everybody in a twenty mile radius is somehow employed by the school and this means a lot of poor black people. I'm guessing they started to freak the sorostitutes out in the bars/clubs so instead of saying "No black people allowed" they say "Nobody wearing large t-shirts, sweats, chains, baggy pants, sagging allowed" instead. Gotta love the not so subtle racism.
Sorry if I double post, just noticed this. Well, I have a funny food story when I went. There was an aritcle in the Husky paper (forget the name) saying on the front page "please don't eat the fruit at Uconn, they've had an infestation of worms".
Same day I went to the dorm next to shippie to get lunch (forget the name), and they had fruit out...............WHY WOULD THEY PUT IT OUT IF THEY TOLD US NOT TO EAT IT?
Ya food was disgusting then, glad to know they fixed it.
Also, we had a great time in Arjuna once. Used to hang out with some guy friends there. bunch of us were chilling out when we had a black out. So...we had a watergun fight going on the whole dorm. People were running up and down the stairs in the dark trying to shoot people.
Someone poured a bucket of water on me and a friend lmao. Used to also play the Res Evil games in the basement. good times.
University of Miami #1?
bwwaaahhahahahaha
no.
Went there for grad school, UM is a joke for parties. Sure it's a 4-year vacation for dumb east-coast kids, but they aren't hardcore drinkers by any means.
That list is complete fail because of the #1 slot.
UW-Madison is a stalwart on these lists however, and for good reason. Us Badgers don't fuck around.
Figured UCSB would be higher up there. Having lived in Santa Barbara/Goleta for almost 4 years, I have had the displeasure of being in Isla Vista on weekends a number of times. The town even gets pretty much quarantined by police on Holloween because it has gotten completely out of control.
No exaggerations, Isla Vista, that little town/area/dormville/whatever looks like a zombie flick at 4am. Dark, silent, no cars driving... Then every block there's 2~3 people staggering slowly and aimlessly through shadowy yards/streets/parkinglots anywhere you look. Plus, UCSB is known by many to be a cesspool of STDs.
On a darker note, someone I know was killed there. >_> He was very inebriated. Some big, burly asshole asked him for a cigarette. He said he didn't have any and proceeds to walk past. He gets punched in the back of the head as hard as possible and dies. GR8 COLLEGE
Not exactly bar areas but I know what you mean. The new fraternity houses on East Campus Road look gorgeous but they are so close together I imagine trouble amongst all of them. I'd still rather be on Milledge, especially with the rules in place at those new houses (I heard a non-frat student has to play the role of RA and live in the house?).
