Zones and towns, from what I see in those movies imitate Oblivion way too much.
So this thread was about how ksandra likes boring games?
Look into Guild Wars then if you haven't already. That's exactly the kind of game NCsoft made. It's free to play online and is open world in regards to towns and posts, but completely instanced in regards to missions and quests. You invite people on your flist or in the towns who wanna do the same things and go into your personal instanced zone to wreak havoc on mobs. If you feel like going solo you may do so and can also invite NPC henchmen to assist you.
Looks really fun, but I don't think it should become the 'new standard'. It's a fresh new style but certainly not how every MMO should be. This is like the SD3 online I always thought would be amazing, only with 3D graphics and MMO immersion.
Levels probably decide everything still but with bonuses or penalties based on your position relative to the monster. The fact that it's Korean and people are dogging it just shows how few posters can actually see through something for what it's worth, sad really.
First thing i thought of when i saw the gameplay was Cabal but slower.

this vid really makes me want the game...
i like how the combat is immersive. you dont auto-swing from the looks of it. you control your movement and that makes this an action-rpg rather than a traditional rpg. reminds me of Twilight Princess actually or Dark Cloud
its very seamless and interactive.
Although, i prefer the contiguity of areas in Aion for example. this game is like FF11 where there are loading screens
it's understandable I suppose since the areas are so detailed and probably graphically intensive.
Aion - like WoW - leans more toward the cartoony than the realistic obviously.
all in all, it looks great. i think it'd be popular in the States. MMOs are never going to be perfect. they all have major flaws so the way to judge them is which has the least amount relatively speaking and also relative to their good attributes
id definitely like to preview this game somehow.

That video seems to confirm PvP. Cool... (EDIT: lol at the part where they are blatantly showing off the Shaman's very small underwear)
The only thing fast about Cabal seems to be the special effects lol. Lots of standing in one place to get a bunch of "MISS!" messagesFirst thing i thought of when i saw the gameplay was Cabal but slower.
Combat is enough to have me playing this
I thought I was watching Seung Mina video
also, boob physics in an mmo lead to a lot of female characters
Bump. Thanks to a kind ol' Charismatic, I was able to get into the beta. (Please don't ask me how, I don't want another headache)
I've only completed the tutorial quest and entered the first city so far. Currently confused by this terrible language that isn't English. The battle system is as interesting as it looked. I picked the Fighter/Warrior/whatever class. Unfortunately I haven't unlocked the badass shield charge yet. Dodging and shield bashing is cool though. Oh and kicking, how manly. I've link some pictures of tutortial quest and first town:

I was going to post some character creation shots, but these videos should cover it:

The guile haircut, the flower, and the TDK Joker face paint made me lol.
god I hate KSSN's
this looks cool. and definitely a game I'd want to play with a controller, I think.
I've actually seen some print ads for this. if I can find any magazines/info/whatever, I'll post.
Would play if it didn't have the fucktacular registration system.
I'll post some more images, since there isn't much information available about this game. I made a new character since I missed out on some things(didn't understand how looting worked.) I rather enjoy the Hunter a little more. Things really got exciting when I obtained a move that allowed me to start a juggle. Juggling (some) opponents can be rather complicated, requiring good timing to hit a more than a 1 or 2. Also I have a special attack that combos well into my normal attacks(it even skips the weaker attacks if done first and goes straight the final and strongest strike.) This is useful because players and monsters will either dodge or punish/counter a combo attempt. So basically, this looks more like a fighting game more and more. There are even abilities that simulate "reversals" and "teching."
Expect a fucking shitload of images.
