Most of the guys I know that play male characters are married or have had a girlfriend for a long time, I guess at that point they're getting ass on a consistent enough basis that they don't care about "staring at a guy's ass" for hours on end, that's just what I've noticed though.

I think some people want to identify with their characters. I'd imagine most guys would identify more with a male character, perhaps a representation of themselves.

Galkas look so much better in this game. I'm ambivalent about all the other races, but big improvement on the Galkas.

Having to use different chars for different classes = more $$$ in SE's pocket.

Unless of course extra characters don't cost extra money this time around. Seriously, why the hell did SE do that in FFXI? No other MMORPG has ever charged extra money for more characters. Perhaps they won't do it this time around.

Job System:
There're four categories for now: warriors, magus, crafters and hunters/fielders.
In each categories, there're different jobs.
- Warrior : Swordsman, Archer
- Magus : Enchanter, Sorcerer
- Crafter : Smith, Cook
- Hunter/Fielder : Gardener, Fisher

"Magus" should be "Sorcerer"; this is a direct transliteration from the katakana. The two example classes are more like "Shaman" and "Illusionist". "Hunter/Fielder" (where did this come from?) should be "Gatherer".

Yeah, it was only a dollar, but it was still kind of annoying. And I don't like being forced into just one character. I like being able to have a variety.

Anyway, as for the new characters, I actually think the new taru -er, Lalafell, excuse me- look pretty neat. I especially like the girl. :3

Cause Famitsu has 9 pages of info on the game. Thats not all of it. Annnnd because we need to get someone to translate most of it. >.>;
