I'm going to say no solely based on the fact that swords have melee stats and maces have caster stats.

This but,... in early levels just use whatever does more damage since that 1-2 acc on a sword means next to nothing with the 99.999% hit rate we get in pve.

Maces have higher base damage but lower crits. There's a semi debate right now for 1.1, but everything may change in 1.5. I still prefer swords though.

before you start using blues and yellows I would say use whatever does the most damage unless its close.

Can anything be done with Aion switching my sound to 2.1 from 5.1 in windows? I read others had problems with this too, but never saw a solution.

Does anyone else have issues with once aion is running that when you try to use the mic test in ventrilo it says it can't open the device? It works fine if aion isn't running. Not sure what the deal is, I put vista 64 on hoping it might go away since I had a similar problem on xp46, but no dice.

I think you have to link your Aion account to a PlayNC master account anyway.

You can, I have my City of Heroes/Villains and my Aion account linked to mine.

I dont think there's any benefit to link them. Say you get banned in L2 for whatever reason, there might be a chance you'd be banned in Aion too?

If they are friends with SE then yes, and guilty by association.

Someone in my LS got 11 accounts banned because one did and they were all on the same CC number.

Are the items from the collector's edition exclusive for that? Meaning, can you get it in-game by any other way?

It says that there's a monthly fee, does that mean I dont have to buy time like in the Chinese version?

1. Yes

2. They are exclusive. Every character made by a CE account gets a set of them, but they cannot be traded.

3. Correct. The monthly fee ranges between $10-$15 depending on how often you choose to be billed (i.e. $15 every month, or $40 every 3 months, etc.)

Is it possible to set Shift and Control to be the quick bar buttons rather then control and alt? Also, is it possible to set certain quick bar buttons to letters? Like, #3 Shield Bash changed to the letter Q? I'm new to playing games on a keyboard and getting used to it is a bit hard, just clicked for beta but I can see that being a problem during the actual game when I need to activate things faster.

You can assign whatever key you want for each hotbar button. Its all in the key mapping tab.

Question: Does one Stigma Stone level up to the II, III, IV, etc. levels of a skill or is it like spellbooks where you need to buy a new spellbook for say, Smite I, Smite II, etc?

Need a new stone for each stigma level. So yea, just like spellbooks.
