Considering rights granted to corporations given to them by the supreme court which gives them the same rights as natural born people. Yes the rich lobby for tax cuts.

No wonder no one takes you seriously you're almost as bad as Leif but sadly not a satirical caricature ( thanks Cadsuane ) of the right. You're just plain dumb.
At first I thought it was illiteracy. Then last night I thought it was reading comprehension. This time I think it's just ignorance.

Ok, your just confusing me at this point. Who is ultimately at fault for the rich getting tax cuts?

If its anything outside of the politicians I'd love a really good explanation of why.

We live in a Democratic Republic for better or worst so we have to have elected officials making decisions for us. Honestly if we didn't have retarded campaign finance laws we wouldn't have politicians being PR people for Corporate america.

In small rural states where politicians can't raise enough money for elections years on donations from constituents alone they become whores sucking on corporate tits just to get elected. It's become the politicians with the most money wins the election. Gone are the days of LBJ where a poor white farmer can raise a son to one of the greatest Social minded presidents this country has ever seen. Corrupt politicians isn't the problem its the symptom for the overall problem of campaign finance laws that is skewed toward the wealthy.

When you're in the pocket for big corporations you cease becoming a representative of your constituents and now become the sole representative of corporations who main goal in existence is not how provide for the betterment of the people but how to maximize profits and reduce expenditures at any political, social, environmental costs. Corporations have no souls they don't see how building a pesticide factory next to a School would harm the community they just see the costs of doing business.

You Fix campaign finance you fix the broken system. Add a cap on how much an official can spend on campaigns by the Campaign or for the Campaign in terms of 527 groups and you will solve most of the problems. Another option would be term limits. Unfortunately you would have to convince politicians to essentially pass laws that would require them to retire. Another concern is this might actually be counterproductive in forcing people out that would actually be a benefit to society keep in. You fix Campaign Finance laws you fix tax cuts for the rich and subjugating the poor farther.

If I'm not mistaken Ron Paul didn't really sell out to any corporations. He received the majority if not all donations from everyday people. Somehow he managed to get his name out.

And in the end he ended up just as successful as Ralph Nader. the only thing he managed to do was siphon votes away from McCain. Ron Paul did raise alot of money but nowhere near the amount as the two mainstream parties. This has a lot to do with how he was marginalized by the Corporate media. The same thing happened with Ralph Nader.

One thing thats disgusting is the amount of people who are Board members of the mainstream media also happen to be on the same boards in other Big corporations. Its an incestuous relationship.

But you expect government to fix this? Are you expecting the very people(A majority it seems) who benefit from this blatant corruption of our political system to somehow wake up and go "I've had enough power for one person, time to do the right thing"?

This seems pretty accurate. Clearly we disagree in which we feel is the most efficient or likely to work, but I like how you put it.

(Though you didn't really answer my question)
