I'm excited for this season, though I wonder why the CW is starting it so late for their fall lineup, compared to other series. Pretty much everything new started last week. Oh well.

I am gonna watch this season .. but smallville seems so distant from a few seasons ago where it was easy to follow and I enjoyed it

I didn't even think this show was still on the air. I watched the first two seasons and they were sorta okay. Tom Welling is a horrible actor. I got tired of watching him express every emotion through raising his eyebrows in various ways.

I think it will be a pretty good season, I think it's interesting how he's only Major Zod right now and not General. It seems like they might have done some time traveling too, not sure where they were for the...idk 20 years or whatever that the planet was been blown up for.

Because he was too old? To be fair Jimmy Olson was a "kid photographer" when Clark and Lois are actual reporters for the Daily Planet. Hence why they probably killed him off and passed it off to his younger brother.

Braniac shrunk the Capitol of Krypton (Kandor). The soldiers mentioned something about their last memory being that their DNA was taken, so it's possible that Braniac had made copies of the people of Kandor and put it into a program as a failsafe to re-create them should anything happen. This is why I believe that Zod is younger and why his rank is much lower; because it is a copy of him from when Krypton existed.

It was pretty silly what they did. Basically the Jimmy Olsen in Smallville was not the Jimmy Olsen who befriends Clark later on at the daily planet. That Jimmy's full name is James Bartholomew Olsen. At the Jimmy's funeral, it was revealed that the one in Smallville had a different name: Henry James Olsen. What is screwed up about this is that during the wedding, he was addressed as James Bartholomew... so either it was an oversight by the writters, or simply a bit of mis-direction. But basically, it was implied that the Jimmy from Smallville took his younger brothers name, and at the funeral, Chloe gave his younger brother his camera, and again, implied that the young kid at the funeral was going to grow up to be the Jimmy Olsen from the comics.

we might get to see a young Jor'El this season :D The reason they don't have powers yet is kinda intriguing though, maybe something Brainiac did

and yea, I dont like the way they did Jimmy, but it helped to push the plot to where it is now :3 Well, they could've easily substituted killing off Chloe instead to push Clark into being emo, but there'd be so much rage lol
