Yeah, but BF is among the rarest stigma in the game. From what I understand it's still 2-4M on Korean servers. 5.5 isn't too far-fetched from that price either.

Bow of Blessing on the Chinese servers was reportedly going for 50-60m

BF is like 6-10m depending who is selling on this server.

I just don't like the idea of trading range for damage/speed it backfires against chanters/assassins/temps/glads and I don't have enough attacks to do a nonstop chain of damage to kill them before they can do something like you can do at 50.

Focused Shots was a better choice for the advanced stigma and more useful without the drawback IMO.

If you pop Focused Shots and Bestial Fury you will seriously do about ~6-8k dmg in PVP. It does make it worth it to pop them both together. But yeah, its really mainly useful for PVPing when you know you'll be ganking a ton.

I don't have enough shots to add up to that yet I don't think but it might change when I get explosive shot.

Either way FS on my sever is fucking rare as hell its never being sold or traded yet BF is much more common and sitting on the AH.

Does BoB (lol) just work on white dmg or something? I keep hearing ppl say it doesnt affect atk's, but i think they lie!

And yeah, chinese servers buying kinah was the norm since it was like 3-5$ per 1m kinah, so everything was overpriced like crazy... also, a lot of those players used PL services or rarely lv'd alts, so those lowbie stigma's were more rare then the 40+ ones

What do you guys think of spending points on the level 30 abyss blue body? It has 5 sockets, no HP or other stats except 5% flight speed. I don't see any bodies on Broker that has this stat, so was considering getting it to chase down or run away in the Abyss. I know lots of people get the gloves or boots, but I was thinking of getting the molar boots and buying the 5% attack speed gloves, which doesn't leave me much to do with AP (besides accessories).

Correct me if I am wrong but I think every ranger should get the level 40 attack speed gold bow crafted asap because this thing is amazing. It's a little bit expensive but since we have no attack speed weapon in the forseeable future it's a worthy investment.

Yes but I have not seem em up on my server let alone getting a group to take them out before someone else shows up AND getting the bow to drop.

This is a PvP crit I'm assuming? That seems a bit low even then :/ I wanted to at least try it out as a toy but if it really is that bad maybe I'll save my abyss points.

Also, I think I'm just going to go the Heart Shot stigma route for now... Focused shots and Bestial Fury are so rare and expensive that I don't think I'll be getting them before the patch comes out, and when they do, I'm assuming the prices will tank in about a week's time because of this:

IMO suck it up and bite the bullet.

From my understanding those stigmas are mandatory for all rangers who want to PvP seriously and not having them will really hurt you in the end.

Wait for them to drop from steelrake sure but skipping them completely is unadvised.

Also we don't know what that means, it could mean a .01% chance to drop from a boss to a 5% chance so they will still be rare. I don't see them making it like a 90% drop rate but we shall see.

Yeah. I still plan on getting them eventually. I'm just in "Wait and See" mode at the moment in hopes of potentially saving alot of Kinah I could use elsewhere.


On an unrelated note, I recently got Speed of the Wind, and it's really good o_o. I took on a 40+SORC/SIN/SIN/RNG group of rifting Asmo last night 1v4 and I killed them all via hit and run. They couldn't do anything at all because I was running at charge speed the whole time with Speed and Mau Form haha.

I'm wondering if I should unsocket Crit now and replace with Attack though. I'm at 408 critical right now, and 458 when I use Caldyon Meat Dumplings. When I use Speed of the Wind I'm at 558, which is well over the soft cap.

I'm aiming for roughly 360 crit, then using a scroll on stuff that requires more attention then just trash clearing. Though using a lesser scoll and the Dumplings sounds tempting

speed of the wind is amazing, and is part of what top tier rangers use on korean servers: but they also use focused shots and bestial fury aswell (think I covered this earlier in this thread) all of them are mandatory.

looking at most of the top rangers in korea, it seems that they kinda fluxiate (based on available gear) but around 300-370 crit, very rarely more base crit then that. Then ALL out attack+5s, some of them barely have any crit socketed and still have 350ish crit

problem is I don't know what they use for food. the calydon dumpling sounds good (50crit on food is alot better then 10-12 attack taking the food slot) would allow you to drop some crit socket space for extra +attacks and gain more. but yeah idk what top tier Rangers eat for food.

It's the stigmas and getting as much +attack as you can that will make you a bursting ranger.

I'm gonna test out some of the other advance stigmas, but gale arrow is looking pretty bad right now, the tool-tip damage and recast look fair enough, but once defense and PVP reduction is factored in it's butchered, while explosive arrow hold strong from it's higher base power. What makes it silly is that explosive arrow's pre-reqs are both attack boosting skills that make it even stronger and are good skills all around, while gale arrows pre-req don't compliment it's tree at all, and are barely even considered situationaly useful. but then against heart-shot looks on pair to explosive arrow but lower recast(more MP) but it hinges on it's "higher crit rate" secondary bonus
