Healing is just kinda common sense. If no one in your group is taking dmg but a lot of people are in a different group, yeah heal them. Don't just sit there and do nothing b/c they're not in your group.

For world bosses I stick a cleric and chanter in each party, or at the least a chanter in each party. I stick to main tank healing and aoe group healing my party.

It depends on what your goal is. If you want medals, fuck healing people outside of your alliance, it gives you no credit.

Heal your ally first, if they dont need healing, toss out some DPS. Clerics get kinda shafted for contribution right now though, so unless it's just your ally taking the fort, dont expect gold medals.

He didn't ask about healing outside the alliance. I don't think anyone does that.

So what's your manastone setups guys?

I just hit 41 today. I'm working on getting full lv30 elite set, and upgrading to 10. Then I'll work on the 50 set slowly when I'm higher. I can get around 10k ap a day minimum, so I figure I'll get the 30 set to have something to wear til then and it's still nice w/ enchants.

That being said, I felt it would be better to experiment at lv50 w/ MR with the lv 50 set due to the manastone lv issue thing, yea? I'm just doing all HP for now.

On AS, ppl say in K-Aion, MR is very popular, but I havent heard any first-hand experience yet.

Thanks for the feedback. And sometimes if the alliance wasn't taking damage I would just assist the Deity and heal whomever was tanking to keep me from getting bored. So good to know that its better to just let them die and then spam heal someone in my alliance lol >_<

    In terms of Manastones -
Complete +HP Set for healing groups. I -never- have mana problems and it helps being able to take a few AoE hits when you go in to raise someone or just and will be taking damage.

    In terms of ganking/solo -
I want to farm up a secondary set of gear with 50:50 Magic Boost/HP+
Obvious Reasons as why switching over to MB when solo (sucks to take 10 minutes to kill a person)

In terms of fun things to try -
I would love to try stacking a complete +Block/+Parry set just to see if I can mitigate enough damage to make that a worthwhile build. I would have tried +Crit but the only thing that we do that isn't magic damage other than melee hits is Hallowed Strike.

What Stigma Builds will you guys be using once you hit 50?

At least on our server, the tank's legion usually has the heals covered, so I get nothing but overhealing. I just dps when I'm not healing. When you do the upper layer forts, you'll have plenty to heal

That is and isn't true - Post 50% on an upper Deity? Yea. Lots of heals going out then.
Pre-50%? There is a spot our Gladiator found where you can melee boss and not get hit with AoE. I'll take a SS if we assault Asteria tonight.

Yeah, I know. We did Asteria and Roah last night, though unsuccessfully due to dredgion. You can also stand on the rocks in Roah and avoid a lot of the aoe. Pre50% I DPS'd.

Got splendor of purification today while doing xeno quests. Anyone use this/is it useful? Seems like it'd be good in pvp

God I want that Stigma so bad D:

Seriously sexy... saves you so much time when dealing with groups. Very helpful in PvP and PvE.

For just about anything other than solo, that stigma will allow you to Erase > Heal so much faster than Erase > Erase > Erase > Erase > Erase > Heal

so I hit 34 yesterday and today got Sage's Wisdom I - - Aion off a mob in FT

I currently have Flash of Recovery II/Blinding Light/Convert and I use all 3 of them a lot

so I was about to NPC it when I saw it was ~200k at the broker so I figured it must have some other use besides an extra AoE heal every 5 min

anyone know what's it good for and if I should use it ?

    A. Reduced Cast Time is additive. When used with the Chanter skill that reduces cast time, all of your spells are instant, meaning you can cast all of your spells while running (including Smite), and you can cast Healing Light practically as fast as you can hit the button it's bound to.

    B. It's the prerequisite to the Hand of Reincarnation advanced stigma.

So now that I'm gettin higher up and gear is getting more expensive, I'm looking a little harder at the stuff I buy and I have to ask:

What is so great about chain for clerics?

I was comparing it to cloth stuff, and it really seems like cloth is better for clerics in almost every way. There seem to be just as many cloth options with +HP as chain, same or more concentration on cloth, more magic resist, and same manastone slots. The only thing chain seems to have going for it is defense, but defense doesn't seem that significant anyway from what I've heard.

So should I switch into more and more cloth stuff? Or stick to chain? I'm 39 atm for what it's worth.

good luck rolling on cloth without pissing off dozens of sorcs/SMs

also, platinum coin/anuhart stuff is class-specific. I'm pretty sure daevanion is, too. (platinum coin/daevanion isn't class specific in the same sense as anuhart, but clerics aren't offered anything but chain)

I'd like to see some testing on Cloth vs. Chain vs. Leather.

But I like how Chain looks, plus yea it'd be hard to lot over a SM or Sorc and I wouldn't want to anyway.

Well, why not roll for chain and buy cloth? It's not like you can't mix the two.

i'm thinking of making a cloth build with full magic boost slotted for my 37 cleric just for soloing purposes, has anyone else actually tried this yet? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3Oy3ZvLCrg this video makes me thing that there is hope for socketing mb since i don't see my smites doing 1.1k at 45 without some kind of mb upgrades

I was soloing elites in indratu at 43-44; I don't have MB manastones and I did just fine. I wouldn't waste time or money on making a MB set personally. I don't have the inventory space to walk around with extra gear.

leather is given horrible horrible stats 90% of the time (even for sins/rngs), i don't see why any mana intensive class would want it. Chain has more hp/mp/magic resist/(random other stats).... leather gets low hp/eva/flight time only
