I honestly didn't think they would let us use pet abilities in the air. They never specified and I said from the beginning crash was OP in the abyss if you could use anywhere.
Did not hear anything about wing root, care to expand please?

Reducing the initial flight drain AGAIN, this time to 10%.
And crash anywhere isn't OP at all, your flight CD is 10 seconds, Crash is 18. Crashed? Simply open your wings and continue. Nowhere near as overpowered as the 1 chain kills that almost every other class in the game has.
Shit was bound to happen...but atleast now I will have the chance to dps kill people in the air without socketing Energy of Cyclone.
Spirit Armor+DP wind spirit IV in air will destroy all.
I do agree that completely removing Crash because pets can fly is stupid. Why not adjust it to be a chance to Crash? Anything is better than completely removing a skill.
If you're flying around the Abyss, chances are you've been flying long enough for your flight cool down to be up. I can't help but think if you charge after a SM in the air with a Water Spirit out, you kind of deserve the death to Crash.
Crash with flying pets would be mostly an annoyance, really. There's an 8 second leeway between your flight and Crash. Unless you're getting chain Crashed by multiple SMs, it really shouldn't be an issue.
I really had fun Crashing people in Abyss. Hardly did I ever get Crash kills. I mostly just brought them to the ground to be killed, or killed there wings immediately when they tried to run.
Crash, root, win for solo SM.
Crash, root/poison/tree/sleep/etc, win with a partner.
I don't see how that would be good for the game.
Half the fags in this game drop their wings and suicide rather than have you kill them if you're fighting in the middle of the air anyway, but those same people would have been the same ones crying if a Spiritmaster killed them with crash. (Protip: You don't get any AP from it.)

Hey SB, recently added the Stigma Enimity Swap. Is it just me, but it seems either transfer a really low amount of enimity when it may direct attention for one sec then goes back to attack pet, or does range between me and pet have any affect?
The only time I can successfully pull it off pet is either Enimity Swap, with 2 My hp to pet HP conversions, followed up with some fireball spamming. Hope its not dead before then.(Of course I could resummon, but it won't have the DP buff ability now)
Usually people dont follow when you "suicide" so when i was in a tough spot, i dropped my wings like if i was suicide, then just before i die i reopen them and hope i can fly to safety![]()
I'm far from it, but i'm curious.. Magma vs. Tempest?
Not like you have a choice in the matter since its based on race but I believe Tempest is very good at PvP, while Magma excels at PvE (those could be switched around, i don't remember all too well). But since they are supposed to be the same thing for both races, I'd expect not too much of a difference between the two.
Yeah I know it's separated by race, but I was still curious about the differences, cuz I think magma looks 10x more bad ass than tempest, personally XD. This probably belongs in Random question, but is there a place where i can solo some elites at 28~?
The only reason I ask is because I solod a few elites in TG for 100k ea. And I thought that was pretty nice for minimal effort
At 28, go grind on Flame Hoverstone near Sulfur fortress. Just tag them with Sandblaster and run around for 3-4 ticks. Fastest exp you can get at 28-30.
I've noticed that when I command a pet to use a move, there's a pretty large delay before it actually uses it. If I use a few of them back-to-back, will they be queue'd and execute in that order or will I possibly lose some abilities? Since I haven't been completely sure, I've been alternating between one pet ability, then one of my spells, then pet ability, etc.
There's only a couple seconds delay, look at your log and not the animation. Yes they Queue and will use them in the order issued.
For pvp, couple questions: Which pet do you guys use (ground pvp not air because I think obviously when we get flying pets water spirit will reign supreme)?
I know the general consensus is magic boost magic boost magic boost, but what about acc? I fought against a 38 sorc today, first time i fought them, i didn't do that bad, but I forgot about fear and a couple things, though I coulda killed them, but the second time I got raped with 8 resists in a row. Obviously an extreme case, but should I be worried about resisting lots of shit in the future, even against higher characters?
Finally, Stoneskin and Ignite Aether. Does Ignite Aether dispel first or does it damage then dispel? And from which side of the bar does it begin dispelling?
