This is probably not threadworthy, but after a discussion with an extremely conservative friend of mine, I'm curious to know how many conservatives feel the same way.
After citing FactCheck.org as a rebuttal to a series of Rush/Beck/Mark Levin talking points, I was told:
"FACTCHECK.ORG is owned by the Annenberg Foundation, a leftists organization. Barack Obama was a founding member, chairman, and president of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, another part of Annenberg where he served on a board with William Ayers, the terrorist. So if I were you I might question where I get my facts as well!"
Now, I like to think I'm a reasonable person who views punditry with a skeptical eye, regardless of whether it's conservative or liberal. I've used FactCheck on numerous occasions to filter political bullshit, and I've always found it to be pretty impartial in it's criticisms.
So my question is: Are most conservatives this unreasonable and bent on their own dogma that they refuse to consider the quality of source material and to accept that everything they are being told might not be God's(lol) honest truth?
