The only word I trust, is the word of god.
There's only one true FactCheck.org and that's TheBible.god
Yes. The truth, like reality, has a liberal bias. However let's not fall into the liberal/conservative trap here. It's Republican "truth" to use whatever supports their ends, nothing more.
You don't have to spend more than 30 seconds on FactCheck.org to realize it is spewing liberal lies in the name of non-partisanship.
Conservatives and liberals both have disregard for fact, but I would say a majority of both are level headed. For instance, my uncle is one of those blindly patriotic, blindly conservative people that will debunk any fact given, and often will make up his own facts. He's also the type that believes the States should be a Christian country, etc..., but knows nothing about the Bible.
Then you have the Rush/Hannity type that's big on thinking their informed and spouting rhetoric at every whim. They're kind of like the "hipster" conservatives that you want to bash in the head. They too will deny fact. This is turn relates to liberals, but I'm only addressing conservatives as the topic.
tl;dr - It's a minority that are this way. The retards are always the loudest and most often remembered. There are a ton of level headed, intelligent conservatives out there.
(Yes, I'm "conservative," minus the "God")
You must completely have missed the articles that call out Obama and Dems on their BS as well, but you know, go ahead with that.
Example: Senior Scare, Yet Again | FactCheck.org
EDIT: Here's another, directed @ Obama: http://factcheck.org/2009/08/abortio...s-fabricating/
Completely off topic, but it was amusing:
Hey, Leif look. BG ads has started catering to you specifically.

I won't though, because Jesus' socialist agenda made it so that he will bail out everyone's sin.
Indeed.
We also need to bring back the indulgences too, I don't want none of those volunteering liberal hippies getting access to heaven just because of things like good deeds.
There are a lot of PEOPLE who are this unreasonable and bent on their own dogma so that they refuse to consider the quality of source material.
It's not a "conservative" or a "republican" trait.
People in general like believing in stuff, and don't like having those beliefs questioned. There is a comfort associated in reading material that agrees with your beliefs, and in attempting to debunk material that disagrees with your beliefs.
I Hate Your Politics Whatever
He hates on both sides pretty well and throws in libertarianism to boot. This section is relevant to this discussion.
Conservatives don’t actually bother to spend time with people who are not conservative, and thus become confused and irritable when people disagree with them; fundamentally can’t see how that’s even possible, which shows an almost charming intellectual naiveté. Less interested in explaining their point of view than nuking you and everything you stand for into blackened cinders before your evil worldview catches on like a virus.
