looks like they plan to do more with the program, it goes up to 12 months but has TBA for 9 months and above (months 7 and 8 are the Honored Daeva package).

That's interesting. Once you pass the 11th month, you'll be able to make a character and start with ~48k AP if you brave the core for turnins. Get 10k before hand (not THAT hard even for a carebear like me) and you can buy non-elite 30 gold gloves or boots. Or a full set of those new cheap abyss blues. Not sure if this is a good thing or not.

I like it, it means you can get runspeed boots at 30 without much effort on any alt.

It seems NCSoft didn't bother to make the recovery crystals from veteran rewards untradeable/unsellable like everything else you get from them. Goodbye to the market on life/recovery crystals lol.

We recently discovered an exploit in the Veteran Rewards system. Some players were able to procure an unintended amount of Recovery Crystals as part of the seven-month reward. To rectify this, our good friend Morati has donated his seemingly endless Secret Remedy supply. The Recovery Crystals previously available in Veteran Rewards program for months 7, 8, 10, and 11 have been replaced with Morati’s Secret Remedy.

The new reward has the same restoration values and shares the same cool-down timer as the Recovery Crystals. The only difference between the two items is that this new reward isn’t tradable.

The changes will be retroactive to preserve the value of the Recovery Crystals that players earned legitimately.

We regret if this change inconvenienced you, and thank you for your patience and understanding.

In this case I doubt it would take much effort to see that an account redeemed their 7 month reward 25-100+ times. This is basically duping, and if they actually let that slide, then wow.
