Are those golds you can also get by turning in like a crapload of platinum coins? Been trying to decide if I really wanna shoot for 2000 to get the gold GS once the quests open up to me.

the golds that come from the platinum coins are the "elite legionary level 3" set

When you turned in the quest, NPC gave you items that can be traded for more platnium coins. So it is not that bad.

Some idiots from Warbone (particularly Gameguard) kept trying to kill things we claimed first, so I run in there a little late and just pull out 2 hander and just DPS as much as possible so we could get drops and the results weren't disappointing:

I passed on it last time because I didn't feel like enchanting a shield all over again but it's a very good shield. Very bummed out it's the same exact model of the one I had before.
