^Nothing new sadly. The 'community play' event is this March, then a few months silence until betas. According to the last official word, our betas start after Japan release in 'summer' so I think that will guage a lot of what to expect.

Yeah those are normal PT Elites. I mean, he's a level higher but you would do those 0-2 levels lower with a full PT of 5 EXP just starts flowing in. Those aren't even one of the more interesting mobs in game, just a great mob for a Lancer POV lol. One jump usually means one shot to mages and around 30-50% to tank with knockdown and debuff.

That Lancer might have a tougher time soloing those now too, there were patch notes due to the effect of changing how they regenerate mana; which is important to blocking I think...

GDC started way earlier this morning and terafans.com(mainly curse) has people who will be attending. They started a question thread for an interview so if anyone's interested in any info regarding the NA version of the game, feel free to make an account and post. The event lasts quite a few days so we'll have to wait til EME has their conference, whenever that is. : )

I don't think Elins will be nearly as popular over here as they were in the Korean Beta, guys tend to like their giant tits and scantily clad women over here (if Aion was any indication), and amazingly the other female races besides Amani wear even LESS clothing than Elins do lol.

Yeah, your avatar is the shit BTW. IDK how long you've had it, nor if I complimented you on it lately but I remember talking to someone about ES lately.

On topic; The dungeon bosses, World Bosses, and PT Elites(mainly bosses) don't always have an animation before any of their big moves. They also chain combos according to what hit has landed on you, as in it's not always the same link coming at you. They can knock down>dot>weigh to go back and heal or something or charge something up.

As for Elin; I think you're absolutely right. Americans -pretend- not to like it as much as the Koreans, or any Asian for that matter(no disrespect intended). But I think we just don't openly admit it to be honest. There is too much I like about the Elin to not play one. It's not so much the pedo in me as it is the fact that they are the tiniest race in the game, a la Taru. Also, their racial trait is AOE movement speed +30 while not in combat, and while healing and buffing, you don't engage. Also swim speed +50 and no aggro 3 minutes vs any normal/Elite mob.

Anyway, yeah, ES was/is an awesome game. Only just beat it again maybe 2 weeks ago for the ending. : )

Mind posting the other racials? Elin's sound... really good actually. I didn't even know they would be so significant but I assume given how good Elin's are that other races get some cool shit too.

From that crab video, it seems like loot is just dropped on the ground like in Diablo II and anybody can pick it up? Do they lock the loot to you or your party?

Yeah it drops like diablo, but I dunno if its locked to you or not.

Rumor is NA/EU racials wil be/could be different than KR ones. I havent followed this notion in a while though.

ya, I remember reading that a while ago also. the racials in Korean retail are pretty OP to the extent where your a fool not to pick your specific class w/the correct race combo. I don't think it will go over well w/ the NA/EU crowd. It doesn't bother me... if you want to to better at your class then you pick the race that has the best synergy w/it... it's not like any race looks ugly or bad lol. It's a conscious choice your gonna make, but ppl will be pissy when they get constantly beat by (lets say) a ranger who is "X" race when they can kill a ranger who is "Y" race easily.
