Heh, both my wife and my best friend's wife will be playing. They think a few things are silly like fighting in high heels, or the rack on the female elfs etc but generally they like the way the models look.

So does the NA/EU development teams have any actual control over the game, or are they just the middlemen for the korean devs? I hate the way some of these ported korean games are miles away from their korean equivalents.

CEO of EME is Korean so IDK how much they can actually break away from the Korean version really. Frogster is just the publisher for EU, not NA, and you really hear nothing but bad things about Frogster but that personally won't bother me.

I mean, the EME team is -nasty-, background wise, especially in the Korean scene, and in the end lead by a Korean so you never know. Remember EME team is 5(?) people, VS. the 200 man BHS team. Knox said himself he spends 1 week a month in Korea working on the game so IDK. CPE end of this month so we'll see what happens.

Haha, tell me about it. We grinded the shit out of XIV too. My duo partner would always say once we got higher level, the game probly wouldn't be as bad. So much for that...

Me and my XIV + CoD crew are ready to go for Tera though. Waiting till summer ish to get everything goin. Should be enough patches/updates by that time to figure out what jobs we wanna play.

And definitely PVP server all the way, we're no carebears

These should all be testing phases for FFXIV. Make it a June release and you got a solid game. No beta = no game, no matter what anyone says. Because of the rushed garbage they put out, the actual company's fan base went to hell. Oh well, another rushed game, another failure. Nothing new for SE, sadly.

TERA on the other hand is looking solid. Plays like a dream, looks delicious, and from what I can tell you, tastes just as good. Hit me up if you ever decide to play on Mystel on the K retail. Would be baller knowing people from BG not scared to talk to me in English lol.. ..Since Tsugaru bailed on me. : (

Same name, Deathgazer, elvaan rockin the shaggy black hair. Was good friends with Hellscream from FoReal though. Knew him from back on Cerberus. I was really active around the time that NineInchNinjas started camping ground kings religiously, up until 90% of the LS got banned for salvage rapeage. ^-')b

Loved XI but it's past its prime. It'd be kick ass if Tera kept me entertained as long as XI did. Well, shit, anything longer than XIV's life really. But like you said it's lookin pretty solid already. I'd have bought a beta account but I think I'll just hold out till release. But feel free to have all the exp/grind spots mapped out for the rest of us when the time comes ;D
