SE does unban accounts that got banned if the offenses took place during the time it was compromised. Honestly I'd be more worried about NC not reinstating than SE not reinstating in a similar situation. I do hope everything works out in this situation though.

FFXI accounts with the security token have been hacked.

Yes going to a buy kinah site, or some halfassbackwards forum for aion increases your risks but even with some good anti-virus and noscript some things can still get through.

I wanted to know for future reference but, do we need to keep our serial cd key that we got with the aion box when we first ordered? Like how we were screwed with ffxi if we didn't have our reg codes from 5 years ago? I don't even have my box anymore since september and just wondering if this is gonna be required for verification purposes if our accuont gets stolen or hacked.

That was microsoft's fault actually. They forced a security loophole into firefox during an update and didn't tell anyone about it for several months.

Might be required yes, Ncsoft got my friend account back within a week... their support is pretty decent.

On the topic of hacking, I had an RMT /t me some schmucks account details earlier today. I'm assuming it wasn't supposed to go to me at all, quite funny.

All it had was some naked chars in the 20s, was kinda hoping for something better.

A bit late on responding, but I know my friend Cerverai quit for a few months due to school and during that time his account got hacked. He got the account back, but his chanter wasn`t on it anymore. NC said they banned it for botthing. (The hacker botted him from 28 to 43)

Well got my account back, but 2 of the 5 characters were stripped bare... and they ones I actually cared about >.< My SM and Ranger :/ At least my 3 Daevonian pieces were left alone. Too bad I lost all the other items. Well, at least the chinese botted me some money on my Cleric Was also sad to see my warehouse cleaned, had a lot of stigma stones from alts and also SM drop books I was lucky with, some FT drops etc. all gone now X.x Getting back on feet gonna hurt Also wasted my double exp today since I just got my account back, but going out for Valentines XD

That's really rough, when I got hacked I got my account back in about 2 days. In that time whoever hacked both my Aion account and my master account did absolutely nothing.
