These are the screen shots I've been waiting for. I'm now officially excited about the game. I was going to get it when it was announced but now it's a sure thing. Here's hoping that many of us get into beta.


Edit: Yea when I saw these screen shots first thing I thought was I have to get a new video card lol.

Too bad the map is quite blurry, but that could be first glimpse of the world right there. Almost looks like it's not some full continent this time like in XI but the world is cut off from the middle, like in the map of ToAU.

EDIT: It actually looks a bit like Africa and the eastern part of the map looks like it's incomplete.. ohoho, we'll have to find out what's there.

This is what I could make out of the map posted there. The words are in english, but in a "fancy" way, much like the letters in FF12. I figured out the letters based off the official names from the website, and could figure out where Limsa Lominsa is based of the location the website gives (And you can -kinda- make it out on the map, sorta).

Not 100% sure about "Oravania" and "Blooderine Sea", but it's the best I can make out right now. But yeah, seems to be the actual map of Eorzea.
