actually this is kinda the whole point of this thread existing, since before people kept making new threads for semi-celebs (yes and big ones too, but that's why it was cluttering up the forums and making everyone depressed).

Hopper incapacitated by drugs? I dunno....

He has cancer. He had colon cancer iirc and it recently spread to his lymph system. He just stopped working on the tv show he was on because the pain was too much. It was on the news a couple of days ago. Dennis Hopper as the bad guy was the best part of Waterworld.

Oh and don't forget he played King Koopa in the Super Mario Bro's movie.

Daisuke Gouri passed away this past Sunday at around 3:00 pm in Tokyo after being discovered wandering the streets in Nakano ward, blood dripping from his arm, before collapsing face-down. He was 57 years old.

Besides an impressive list of anime credits, Gouri also voiced Bass Armstrong in the Dead or Alive series, Mister Hercule Satan in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai and Heihachi Mishima in the Tekken games — among other titles that include Metal Gear Solid 2, Soulcalibur and Final Fantasy XII.

According to the report, a knife or some kind of sharp object was discovered near the scene as well as Gouri's last will and testament. Authorities are investigating this as a possible suicide.

RANCHO SANTA FE, Calif. – Glen W. Bell Jr., an entrepreneur best known as the founder of the Taco Bell chain, has died. He was 86.

Bell died Sunday at his home in Rancho Santa Fe, according to a statement posted Monday on the Taco Bell Web site.
