The second one was the best in my opinion.
The third one had potential to be awesome except they decided to add extra irrelevant shit to the movie when it should've primarily just been about Spiderman Vs. Venom. Could have deleted Sandman from the movie entirely and no one would've noticed.
they all sucked and anyone that liked any of them knows nothing about spidey
Of course they all sucked but adding glitter to spidey via twilight fags is unbearable.
http://www.iwatchstuff.com/2010/01/m..._spiderman.phpIn a press release sent out today to people who receive press releases, Columbia Pictures and Marvel Pictures, confirming rumors, announced Marc Webb will be directing the next Spider-Man film. Webb, most notably, earned recent acclaim as director of the indie hit (500) Days of Summer. Also, he has the last name Webb, which obviously speaks volumes about his Spider-Man competence and must be mentioned in any article about this deal.

lol :D
Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the running to play Spidey?:

I wont be looking forward to this at all. This guy Marc Webb has only directed one movie in his life, a chick flick and there handing him the reigns to one of the biggest franchises out now? I'm guessing he will be a sock puppet for producers to ruin this film.
This thread is now to dead to me.
I actually didn't like 500, but i do like him as an actor and he needs to get hired more. I can see him pulling it off.
Sony's been trying to fuck the franchise since the first movie came out, rather than let Raimi do the movie and make them $$$. The third film was Sony completly fucking over the director's desires.
Raimi said if they did it again, he'd leave. So did the big stars, who felt Sony was hosing their work. Sony proceeded to force rewrite after faggy rewrite until Raimi left, and now they're going to do it "their way".
See you next year, when we'll be watching anything else Marvel.
I wouldn't go that far as to say not watch anything Marvel. Iron Man 2 & Thor are coming out and I am sure they will be great. Not to mention the eventual release of Captain America followed by The Avengers which I'm sure will blow all our minds.
The problem with these shitty Marvel movies is, the rights to film are owned by companies not tied to Marvel, ie Spider-man, Fantastic Four, etc. Whenever Marvel gets these back, you know they will be bad-ass.
Reboot could work, worked on Star Trek.
I'll be honest i never liked the spiderman movies that much, Dunst as Jane just wasn't hot enough. Imo Marvel could have done the last spiderman so much better, since Venom is one of Spidies greatest foes.![]()
Hi! I'm Venom! I need your help to defeat Spiderman, Sandman!
Yeah the last movie just pissed me off so much. They took a giant shit all over Venom, one of my favorite villains of all time. They could have made the entire movie all about Spiderman Vs. Venom and I know a lot of people would have been much happier. To hell with Hobgoblin and Sandman. Maybe even throw a little Carnage in the end to get some hype for the next installment and it would have been a great comic book movie.
I was fine with Dunst as MJ, she made a believable MJ for me at least. They could put someone like Megan Fox in there but then the movie would be all about her running in a low cut shirt in slow motion. While visually appealing, she gets by on her looks. She hasn't shown me anything that proves she can act worth a damn.
venom spinoff! I am so happy about that...as long as they dont fuck with venom. They got the introduction pretty well in spiderman 3, but everything else about venom in spiderman 3 completely blew.
There was no sence of twisted morality
Not once did i see him protect an 'innocent'
Having him eat someones eyes would have been awesome
Having him cloak would have been even better.
The actor they had playing him sucked, and i seem to remember Eddie Brock being an olympic athlete... not a competing photographer.
And his jaw... Venom has a vicious jaw line with a tounge to match... it was completely lacking in spiderman 3.
Somewhere in this thread they mention venom as being an anti hero. If they really pull through on this, and make an antihero similar to punisher 2, and they will be in buisness.
Oh and without the original directer being able to produce a movie in the vein of spiderman 1&2... im not interested in spiderman4. besides i thought it was already canceled.
They could not have fucked up the symbiote story worse. Peter's dark side is just doing some queer dancing, Gwen Stacy is just some broad he uses to make MJ jealous, Eric foreman is Eddie Brock, Venom is completely fucking vaporized by a pumpkin bomb, even though like 30 minutes before we see Harry take one to the face and walk away with nothing but some burns.
yeah, it was bad lol. thanks for reminding me about the emo-spidey scene... god i finally forgot about that too!
