Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan. As a diehard GL fan, I am definitely looking forward to this movie. Time to see if DC can make a non-Batman comic movie right....

Back in the day, yellow used to be the weakness of green lantern rings. But they explained it away in comics. Considering what it sounds like the story is going to be, it may get explained in the sequel if they have one.

Actually WOOD was the original weakness of the green lanterns. SO basically any brotha with a baseball bat would kick his ass.

Not trying to argue semantics but the wood weakness was for Alan_Scott, the Golden Age Green Lantern. His lantern is totally different from the others as its mystical in nature compared to the more cosmic-powered lanterns such as Hal and John Stewart.

On topic: I think the GL movie will be good, hopefully DC gets it together like Marvel and starts releasing more movies. Superman could be so great if done right(like focusing on what a god-like being he is instead of his humanity.)

Thank you, was just going to post that. Although in the modern age, I believe all weaknesses have been eradicated from both Alan Scott's power as well as the Green Lanterns overcoming yellow after Parallax was freed.
Was hoping for NPH or Common. Either way, this movie should be decent. Bigger question is, will deadpool movie be good.
The gl comics are great but I don't see this ending up as well.
if oliver queen is in this movie it will be good. i doubt oli will be in the movie, i am not sure when their friendship really began.
