Not really in a bunch just gets annoying to see people still doubting Nolan after 2 solid Batman movies, they doubted his decisions w/ the first, they doubted his decisions w/ the second, I think he knows what hes doing.
the initial discussion was about how could Hathaway hope to stand up to the previous ones... so still about doubting Nolan, to some extent.

Christian Bale has revealed that The Dark Knight Rises will likely be his last Batman movie. This is not any big shock and has been rumored/reported before, but this is the first time that Bale is actually talking about it.
Here's what he had to say to Empire last month:
Christopher Nolan has confirmed that The Dark Knight Rises will be his last installment in the Batman franchise, so as of now let's assume that is it. It is good to hear that Bale is not ruling anything out."All I know is the likelihood that this will be the last one. Well, I wouldn't say definitely. If Chris goes, 'Hey, I've got another story I think could be interesting,' then yeah, great, I'd go do that. I always assumed it would be three, but I could be wrong. I don't know if there's something wrong with me, but I don't feel any pressure."
Bale obviously loves working with Nolan, but how does he feel about the new cast coming in for the film?
I am curious to hear his thoughts of working with Anne Hathaway, but that will have to wait for another time. I am looking forward to The Dark Knight and am happy with all of Nolan's casting decisions. I am sure that if this film blows up at the box-office and more importantly receives a lot of critical praise that there is always a possibility that Nolan could change their mind about more films, we are talking about Hollywood where anything is possible. I highly doubt it but here's to wishful thinking!"[Tom Hardy] seems like he's balls-out, doesn't he? Like he really goes for it.He looked like a guy that was happy to go to extremes, to really push it. Looks like he could go the distance..."

I'm just glad Nolan confirmed no 3D. I'm sure he was getting a lot of pressure from the studio for it.

Ledger’s friend and agent, Steven Alexander, tells Biskind that Heath “was always hesitant to be in a summer blockbuster, with the dolls and action figures and everything else that comes with one of those movies. He was afraid it would define him and limit his choices.” According to friends of Ledger’s, one of the reasons he agreed to do Dark Knight was that the unusually long shoot would give him an excuse to turn down other offers.
Alexander tells Biskind that Ledger had a pay-or-play deal on The Dark Knight—meaning he’d get compensated no matter what—so he felt he had the freedom to do whatever he wanted as the Joker. According to Pecorini, Ledger hoped his performance would be so far-out he’d be fired, and thus become the beneficiary of a lengthy, paid vacation.
“He was ready to bust out of the gate, but he didn’t want to step on the gas and become something that he didn’t want to become: a matinee idol,” says Alexander. “He was a private person, and he didn’t want to share his personal history with the press. It just wasn’t up for sale. That’s part of the reason he initially tore down his career. He wasn’t motivated by money or stardom, but by the respect of his peers, and for people to walk out of a movie theater after they’d seen something that he’d worked on and say, ‘Wow, he really disappeared into that character.’ He was striving to become an ‘illusionist,’ as he called it, able to create characters that weren’t there.”
Wasn't bane dominican or some shit? Unless tom hardy has a killer Spanish accent do not like.
BEARS
He was born on Santa Prisca. Made up country in DC universe timeline.
Sure sounds beanerish
Hes probably not going to be from a latin american country in the film.
What's next a black nick fury?
BEARS
Or an Irish Ra's Al-Ghul?
I wana see Bane break Batman's back, and then a 1980s montage of Bale recuperating with the help of that black dude from Iron Eagle. Oh, he'd be like Morgan Freeman's brother, MALCOM. Yeah.
