I know free to play mORPGPs make a killing by having the stat respec potions and talent tree reset items in their cash shops maybe Square Enix wants to take advantage of that, it's possilbe.

There's a kind of old Japanese MMO by Hudson called Master of Epic.
It was totally skill point based, and in order to respec, you had be a certain level and go through an epic-huge rebirth quest you could only do once every few months. On completion, you were rewarded with a fair amount of gold, piece of armor of your choosing, and the ability to respec with a bonus 10% extra skill points.

Something like this would be cool if it had a good enough limit on how often you can do it and required extensive time to do as well.

Goddamn I missed the updated alpha manual. Is it possible for anyone that read it while it was up to summarize the changes or does that go against the NDA?

I don't believe you can without throwing away your old app. You could just make another under a different account?

I'm not sure if this is too much but generally, it was mainly to do with the aetheryte system and transport, with some bits about the party and trade system included. Oh, and an amusing Q + A :D

Hmm, never had my SEID linked to my PoL until a month after i signed up for the beta/alpha back in December. Wonder if they take new SS's or if im screwed unless i redo my app. Still unsure if redoing the app invalidates all entries
