It is just me or is that alot of AOE and not alot of single target stuff? Do they intend on us only fighting large groups of monsters? It sounds like Roaming Spell will make it single target but still how often will we gt to use that ability?

I think thats the point, is to be fighting GROUPS of enemys rather than 6 people fighting a single target, so some groups may have a single AoE member to help deal with a group of them.

I really don't get how Square Enix wasn't smart enough to make it so you can't access the client installer if you're not logged in. Still seems to change often enough to make it "impossible" to actively share.

Still, if you really want the client, you can probably get it. If not, you're not trying hard enough.

I think there will be more then one type of AOE in FFXIV some will be linear and oders with not in a complete circule.

The peeps in the alpha having issues should state Vid card, OS and problems in a unified manner so you can talk to each other about methods of fixing.... just sayin ...since iMAD i don't get to enjoy on Thursday with you haters!

Tried patcher music. From note:

Currently in .dat format, dont have the time to figure out the correct format.
However these files work in Media Player Classic (and other players im sure) with the .dat extension.

Tried...

Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.

Wonder if I'm missing a codec.

If no login is required for install, maybe I can tinker with it to make it work. I'm fairly good developer, maybe I can even find a way to work with a login lol.
