The Robin Hood episode was your typical period piece chock full of cheese bolstered by some good banter between the Doctor and Hood with your expected payoff at the end of the episode. Some robots 'n shit, gold, Sheriff's colluding with them for the power, grumpy Doc learns to respect a 'legend' like himself, Clara gets to meet one of her heroes and everyone lives happily ever after.
Roll credits.
I wouldn't call it a terrible episode, it's just your typical filler affair that won't rank as being awful or great in the grand scheme of things. If you want to say it's worse than Into the Dalek, I'd agree but in typical Moffat style he's laying out all the cards for the big reveal come series end.
If you thought this weeks episode was bad, have fun with Time Heist.
ok Im back, I liked that episode
It seems that there is mixed shit on the Moment.
http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/The_Moment
" The Moment was capable of destroying both Gallifrey, Daleks and whole galaxies within in a single moment hence its given name. Additionally, the Moment was able to breach time locks and create tears in the fabric of creation called time fissures that would allow people and objects to pass from one time period to another, possessing a trans-dimensional awareness of the past and future. This extended to events that were time-locked."
and
"By using the Moment, the Doctor time-locked the war, making it theoretically impossible to reach via time travel. (COMIC: Don't Step on the Grass) Supposedly, when the Doctor used the Moment, he destroyed Gallifrey, the Daleks, and the Time Lords. (COMIC: Sky Jacks) As the Ninth Doctor later stated, all the combatants of the Time War had burned and were "wiped out in one second". (TV: Dalek) "
I guess we're both right about the Moment and what it does.

I've heard everything makes more sense on the second watch, but I deleted it off my DVR so not sure
I enjoyed this episode.
At some points the cinematography and pacing felt awkward, but it was pretty alright.
As a one-off adventure, it wasn't too bad. I kind of wish one they set the bank heist/ocean's eleven vibe, that they would have played it up harder through the whole episode. I was also expecting this to be the 'break-open' episode for the Missy storyline, I'm starting to worry that's going to be rushed in the second half of the season.

I loved tonight's episode. I'm really liking Capaldi, and he was so good in the start of this episode and the little jabs he was making were perfect.
This was the first episode of the season I took an active dislike to and I'm not even exactly sure why. None of the characters were their better selves and the story was uninspired. We knew a confrontation between the Doctor and Danny was coming, but this just felt needlessly ugly.
Capaldi continues to shine but IMO this was by and large a badly written episode. There were a handful of good (great, even) lines but that didn't come close to salvaging it for me.
there's been a spillage
I actually liked this episode more than any so far.
I feel like the entire episode is fine no matter what you though of the rest just because of the:
